Agreed. A close family member had a stroke late 2019 so I will never poke fun at his condition nor hold out hope that he can improve.

 

We should focus on his policies, both current and the ones he scrubbed from his campaign site, as well as his track record.  

It was foolish of Fetterman to do this debate, but he was in a lose/lose situation.  I think he chose the greater of two evils though, unfortunately for him.

True. Oz lied about his stance on abortion and was evasive most of the night. He was effective however at casting Fetterman as an extremist and Fetterman was unable to respond to it. Oz clearly won, because he is a far better public speaker with his long history of T.V. experience. Fetterman didn't do well at debating in the Primaries before the stroke.

I don't think many voters minds will change after this debate.

Probably not. Plenty of content for Oz to use against Fetterman but his line that abortion should be between "A woman, her doctor and her local politicians" will probably destroy that suburban female vote he wants.

Fetterman should have had the humility to drop out before the deadline so that Democrats could replace him. That he didn’t will likely cost Dems the seat. Bottom line though, if he doesn’t have the stroke the radical spoiled brat probably wins. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of Oz’s strength as a candidate.
