Connor Barwin climbing the ladder.

My take on this is they lost a lot of player evaluation skill while Howie promotes his Yes men.  That said and as I've said before if they can just focus on picking the good players from the good teams then I think it doesn't matter much.   My guess is this won't work well in the long run but has little short term impact

and who is Katie David, Football Operations Director?  She's listed on the Eagles website - team, front office tabs.

Adam Caplan has been hinting that a female in the operation was highly thought of and slated to replace Andy Weidl's brother. I wonder if it's her.

Ameena Soliman is highly thought of (and a woman).

Thaks - is that who replaces Weidl's brother

All this poaching of the Eagles front office leads me to believe that it's well thought of in other circles around the league.  Hope the team can recover from these losses.

I guess we won't relly know until next year's draft.

It's more than the draft.  It's the entire roster, free agency.  It's also the analytics dept that has a hand in game planning and game calling.

Depends. The roster is pretty well set. As I onceheard a GM say "the first 49 or 50 are essentially predetermined - the last 3 or 4 who will likely be inactive on game day are what camp competition is all about." given that, I don't think the new front office will have much of an impact.

When it comes to trades, that's Howie's deal. Always was and always will be. The new front office won't impact that much either.

Every time I hear our media or see posts like yours that reference analytics, I can't help but think there's an intense search for  a new bogey man. The Eagles have already been heavy into game day alalytic driven decisions. Just think about their 4th down calls. The other thing to remember is that the analytics department is essentially unchanged. Same cast of characters with different titles.

Ok - when it comes to free agency you are right. that comes before the draft and tosesignings (or non-signings) are a collaborative efforts. Bottom line though - Howie's call.

Finally, I don't get all the hand wringing and angst about the front office changes. Until last year everyone hated Howie and the guys who worded for him. Sure, things are better now, but maybe they added by subtracting Doug and his staff.
