Posted June 18, 20223 yr REPORT: EAGLES SIGN VETERAN SAFETY TO ONE-YEAR DEAL By Victor Williams June 17, 2022 A new safety is joining Anthony Harris and Marcus Epps ahead of training camp. Per multiple reports, the Eagles have agreed to terms with veteran safety Jaquiski Tartt on a one-year deal: The former second-round pick spent his first seven seasons with San Francisco. He’s had some injury woes throughout his career but is a versatile deep safety when healthy. Tartt has only given up nine TDs across his career and allowed just 57.6% of passes to be completed when targeted last season. Unfortunately, he’ll be remembered most for dropping the crucial interception in last year’s NFC Championship Game vs. the Rams. The 30-year-old is an ideal fit for Jonathan Gannon’s scheme, although he is a stop-gap option at best. https://thelibertyline.com/2022/06/17/report-eagles-sign-jaquiski-tartt/
June 19, 20223 yr I think there's a good chance Tartt ends up being a starter right? He's been a starter in the league, he's been a pretty good and productive player and let's be honest he has to be better than Harris? I mean at this point you wonder whether Harris may not make the roster.
