Angry Caller: Educate yourself! There are going to be taco trucks on every corner!!!!!!!!!

So, what I'm hearing about these latest rulings is that the Court backdoored in the nondelegation doctrine. Essentially, all federal agencies will be handicapped from implementing progressive regulations. Any regulation will be enjoined. If Congress wants to actually do something, they will need to specifically write it into the law, which means laws will never get passed or, more likely, they'll be passed and never actually used. I cannot tell you how stupidly accurate this dumb Tweet is:

You had me at NSA and lost me at FDA.

FDA greatly over regulates restaurants in my mind. I actually am ok with the FDA for the most part, but I think a lot of their regulations can be scaled back. I'll agree to replace them on that list with the IRS though.

I kind of like my food and vaccines to be safe.

Never mentioned vaccines. I'm more talking about food safety. Some of their regulations are a bit extreme. If I buy a food truck, I can't store it at my house. That's a violation. I have to find a non residential place to store it.

But that's beside the point. I just don't think it should be a government run agency. I also don't think the 2 things should be lumped together. Also don't think tobacco and firearms should be lumped together.

Might be the case, but I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak. That's interesting, though. My parents used to run a concession trailer years ago. Not sure if the regulations are different for a truck vs. a trailer, but when they were catering, they stored it at the house in between events.

I see no basic problem with the oversight of food and drug safety being held by the government. I mean, who else is gonna do it? Who has the resources?

I haven't researched it really hard, but I've always tossed around the idea just for something to do part time on some weekends. From what I've seen from some late night drunken googling is that it's too much of a hassle to do it if you're not doing it 5 days a week every week. And most of that comes from trying to confirm to FDA regulations
