Posted June 28, 20224 yr A season is typically 3-4 months. You can coach any sport, be an assistant or head coach, and can't quit. I would do it. More money for me.
June 28, 20224 yr Sorry what's the catch? So I'm going to get paid more AND I'm going to get the chance to coach a sports team?
June 28, 20224 yr Coaching HS kids? That would be ok, but not sniveling middle school kids. I've seen high school sports up close for years and I have a lot of respect for coaches who put the time in for little money, being away from their own family, and getting nothing but ish from stupid parents.

Yeah it's open-ended where you can pick something you'd enjoy or not be too difficult. If the deal were something less appealing making that 3-4 months hell then it's a tougher choice. Plus apparently you get a raise that lasts your career, not like a one-time bonus. Not very well thought out. But since it's open ended: Assistant Coach for women's beach volleyball team. Easy.
July 2, 20224 yr My wife teaches and coaches 2 seasons and does time clock in 3rd. Great way to make extra cash and she loves doing it. We have little kids now starting sports so she’s dropped coaching and just does time clock and sucks not having extra money, but wants to be around for kids stuff which makes sense.
July 2, 20224 yr I moonlight as a volunteer Lamaze coach for constipated men push push push push push breathe

July 3, 20224 yr I would need at least $1 million or more over my current salary to be a coach of any team. That is how much I hate coaching.
July 6, 20224 yr Yes. I would be the Pat Knight of women's college basketball. I'd have a team of fearsome big titted warriors.

July 6, 20224 yr Hell yeah I would. That's a nice extra haul. My wife is a guidance counselor at a middle school and does some 'coaching'. Earns only a third of 12k to coach 2 or 3 sports. She knows nothing about any sport, but, they need the help and she loves being around her students, helping them in any way possible. Oh, and her coaching sports seasons last like only 6 to 8 weeks. LOL
