Thoughts and Prayers.....

While we're "discussing" "solutions", let's start with why was the side door unlocked that allowed he/him to sneak in undetected, walk upstairs, then open fire?

Good question. Maybe more safety education for our school administration?

Perhaps it's society that needs a look under the hood.

Stop raising feral children

Let's take an honest look into mental illness, instead of just popping kids with pills and sending them about their day.Why do so many parents give their kids legal meth every day and not think twice.

Common sense gun laws should be in place, but even assault rifles should not be illegal.

Gun shows, gone

Legit background checks and closing any loopholes

Raising age limit of assault rifles

Banning high capacity gun magazines

Implement red flag laws

Maybe even gun insurance

Definitely. After Uvalde that should have been a given for all schools.

It honestly shocks me that there would be any unlocked side doors anywhere. How many times does this need to happen before everyone realizes it can be their school. Former students know all the lapses in security.

Agenda driven numbers that completely ignore the defensive use of guns.

Chemically unbalanced individual.

it wasn't.  the shooter shot their way thru the door.

28 years old and went back to their school to commit a mass murder

Something was seriously wrong with them

I did find it amusing that the cop took a jab at the Uvalde police for waiting

He's 28.  This school only goes through 6th grade.  If 6th graders are typically 12 years old he hasn't gone there for 16 years.  If the same lapses in security exist 16 years later then there needs to be a different discussion.

I haven't heard that, but now see this, so you may be right:

Quote

Shortly before 10.13am, the woman entered the school through a side door and began opening fire on the second floor.

It's unclear how she gained access to the building. Police say all of the doors were locked.

None. Isn't that kind of the point?

Oh so whining about republicans making "a mockery” of the debate was just to signal that you’re a pu**y liberal but you actually agree with them on this subject. Got it. 😂

Yep retarded Dems telling already mentally ill people that they’re being genocided probably isn’t very helpful either.

Oh, never mind. You completely missed the point. It's nice to see you're still as stupid as ever.

Now do the Buffalo shooter! Or the Charleston shooter! Or any of the other countless mass shootings that keep happening.

Why is that a twisted game?  It’s a very appropriate question in all cases.

Yet it will not be asked in any coverage. It will be excused.

You just quoted a member of the media who was asking the question.

So you do have ideas for laws that would have prevented the shooting? Or are you just being a whiny p*** lib?

Think Greenwald will make the rounds? I suspect not.

Most stories to this point are light on known details as it is.

I’m sure it’ll be asked on right wing media plenty, just like it’s asked on left wing media when it’s a right winger.
