 Ok Zuke. Continue being a scumbag instead of even being willing to discuss the issue here (you know, yet more dead children just trying to go to school)

This whole thing around Trans shooters stems from a congressman repeating an inaccurate internet rumour that the Uvalde shooter was trans and the fact that the Highland Park Illinois shooter disguised himself as a woman. Between 2018 and 2021 there were 2064 mass shooting incidents in the US and only 2 of the shooters were transgender. Even in the last 2 years, there are at most 3 trans or non binary shooters in the last 2 years in around 900 incidents.

"wAY WaY OvERrePREsEnTeD".

Like all the right wing blowhards on issues like this, you're flat out wrong, but you're wrong confidently and always with a cherry picked and / or dubiously researched academic report about a tangentially related issue to "prove it"

Incorrect. I posted a tweet a page back with very recent mass shootings carried out by trans and non-binary people, which, of course, didn't include the Uvalde shooting. Again, given how small the population of trannies are in the country, on a per capita basis they are way overrepresented in mass shootings. It's important to explore why.

Go back and look at how quickly a leftist politicized this shooting, in this thread, jackass. Look at how quickly a leftist activist ghoul rushed to the microphones at the scene of this shooting, to hijack the coverage and blame innocent, law-abiding citizens.  Here’s you leftists when you hear about another school shooting, but then find out that the shooter is a fellow leftist and member of the "victim” group du jour.

What's really pathetic is that people think it's funny to use a mass murder to slander their political opponents

Paul definitely is a great person who just wants to save the children. Anyone who doesn't agree with his particular remedy - stripping the law-abiding of constitutional rights - is just a scumbag who doesn't care about did children.

This is why it's completely pointless to interact with these freak losers on the topic. A leftist just massacred Christian children at a school and his only response is to think of how it's an opportunity to disarm his political opponents. That's why you just laugh at them and tell them no.

Solution, require all schools, every single one, to have an armed, trained, school resource officer on site whenever children are present.

Too unrealistic. Full, nationwide weapon confiscation is the only solution.

Not sure if it's indicative of anything beyond a strange gesture to shoehorn a political statement into what's supposed to be a jolly holiday greeting. And even weirder to me to have your young kids participate in it. Even if it's a family hobby to go hunting or what not, you never really see people pose like this with fishing poles or tennis rackets, etc. It would be kinda like some hardcore leftists posing with vaccine needles or wearing face masks or some weird ish. Like we get it, these are your overt political beliefs, but what exactly do they have to do with the holiday of Christmas?

I'm on board. Let's start talking funding.

Right o then.

Here we go. We can start by trimming an ounce of the administrative fat that virtually every public school system is loaded with, then go from there. Private schools that don’t already have one can look at a modest tuition increase.

Why is it weird to you? Families go to the range a lot. They could also be into competitive shooting

That is not a precursor to going on a mass shooting despite people being freaked or weirded out by a picture of a family holding firearms

@Tnt4philly Care to explain the laughing?

Dude I grew up around guns and live in a pretty conservative area. You don’t have to be "freaked or weirded” out to think that Christmas card is odd.

Yeah and what about the White Supremacist Trump voters who have engaged in mass murder. What should we do with them. Have a party?

Currently there are not enough police. The local public schools in my area share SROs, so there isn't one in every building at all times. Maybe one or two days a week. Private schools don't have any. Where are the additional SROs coming from?

It's a precursor to being an obnoxious weirdo that throws their politics in your face.
