Private schools that don’t already have one can look at a modest tuition increase. Theoretically, this sounds like it could maybe work. My concern, however, is that the shooter will just take out the security guard from a distance first, then do their thing. It would not be difficult. A guard that spends day after day for years, surrounded by kids and people moving about, will not exactly be on their toes at all times.
March 28, 20232 yr this was back in september 2022 & idk how much bloat was crammed into the bill, but...

Reports are that he/him decided against shooting up a different school because they had better security. We should look at what they were doing differently.

March 28, 20232 yr Quote The shooter was under care for an "emotional disorder," Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said Tuesday. "Law enforcement knew nothing about the treatment" 28-year-old Aubrey Hale was receiving, he added. Hale's parents "felt that (Hale) should not own weapons" and were under the impression Hale had sold one weapon and "did not own any more," Drake said. "As it turned out, (Hale) had been hiding several weapons within the house," Drake said. Quote The shooter who killed six people at a private school in Nashville purchased at least seven guns legally and locally, according to Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake. Drake said those seven firearms were purchased from five different gun stores in Nashville. Three of the guns were used during the shooting at Covenant School Monday, he said.

I guess it’s worth remembering that you were the guy openly advocating letting American citizens die by denying them health care just because they wouldn’t get the experimental Covid vaccine. But yeah, you’re coming from a place of love and caring.

If the care doesn't get to them then I suppose maybe voting for better healthcare in this country could be an option. Makes you wonder.

March 28, 20232 yr Even though the graphic that mr_hunt showed was very telling, I think the jump is also correlated with internet/social media. At this point, we need it for business, basic entertainment, etc., but I wish there was a way for it to go away. It is causing unnecessary outrage IMO. Think about it, how many times have the regulars ended their nights pissed off because someone disagreed with them about re-signing Slay over CJGJ. Now extrapolate that for more controversial subjects such as religion, race, and sexual identity. Social media is like a never ending argument that consumes people. No bueno.

What medical condition should prevent someone from owning a firearm? If they take medication for it would they be able to own one? What happens if they don't need it anymore and would like to get out of whatever database that stores the red flags. Could that list prevent other things? Lots of questions and it's a discussion that should happen but likely wont

My teenaged niece suffers with anxiety and depression and is currently not in school. My brother told me school shootings is one of her fears. She's currently in Minnesota getting help. So incredibly sad for her. One minute you're a cheerleader, playing sports, being a lifeguard in the summer, and now this. Glad she's in a safe place and hopefully will come out OK and able to cope. The whole covid thing really messed with her as well. My older one is starting to look at high schools now. She's got this year and next year left, then off to high school *shudders*
