The AR style rifle allows inexperienced shooters the ability to put way more rounds down range than the varmint rifle posted above. I’m not saying banning them is the answer or that it would even help if we did, but let’s stop pretending that they do it make it easier to kill.

Yeah name of the game in the 60s was volume of fire. Now though the trend seems to be going towards larger rounds put out more accurately. (XM5, Sweden and Norway probably going to 7.62). Not sure if it’s a solution or if too many people are trying to re-fight the long engagements in AStan.

That may be the trend for experienced shooters on a battlefield. It doesn’t take much to learn how to fire an AR style weapon at unarmed targets.

IMO, it takes more than a little much.

It takes zero skill to point a semi auto weapon down range and squeeze off 30 rounds at unarmed targets.

Second amendment question... when people argue that you can't take away our guns because it's in the constitution, do they literally not know what an amendment actually is?

I never understood that stance. I'm not saying the 2nd amendment is wrong, outdated, correct, or current... just not a fan of the logic behind that argument.

most are calling for better regulation...not taking away guns. gun regulations already exist & they were backed by the heller decision.

The jet fuel and steel beam people are bored......

Limiting the magazine capacity won’t change it. At best you’re hoping for a statistical anomaly that occurs during a statistical anomaly.

You can reload an AK in less than a second and that’s a PITA because the magazine has a lug and you have to rack it to load it. AR’s? Pistols? Yeah they can be done quick. Even with best case scenario with mag capacity bans you’re just going to see New York reloads.

I admire the humanity of liberals. What I don’t admire is their inability to come up with a working solution to a problem.

Plenty of examples where reloading provides an opportunity to escape or charge the shooter. A couple seconds is all you need to save lives. It's literally happened several times in notable cases. I end up having to repost the list every time one of these comes up. If you really think I'm off base, I'll go dig it up again, but I already know it won't change your mind.

The internet has really created a cesspool of people spewing their nonsense into a void.

Biden again having a good time with this school shooting.

[quote]

On the South Lawn of the White House on Tuesday, a reporter asked Biden if he believed that Christians were targeted in the Nashville shooting.

"I have no idea," Biden responded and when he was told that Hawley believes that Christians were targeted, the president said: "Well, I probably don't then."

"No, I'm joking," Biden added. "I have no idea."

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs spokesperson posted this after this school shooting.

Josselyn Berry's disturbing tweet included a woman brandishing two handguns from the 1980 movie “Gloria.”

gross extremists on both sides are gross.

It's actually kind of a funny response

Reading through the past few days of posts,  two or three people said this shouldn't be politicized, and those same people immediately started spouting political rhetoric in their next posts.

Never change, CVON.

Totally agree. This jerk is just one of countless people that are obsessed with politics. On top of that, he is using a tragedy that killed innocent little kids so he can make a name for himself on the twitters. Not everything is politics, dude.

The internet really has brought out the worst in humanity.
