Apparently there is no law against leaving loaded guns unlocked and in easy reach of children in Georgia. Why am not surprised?

I feel uneasy reading stuff like that. Puts a knot in my stomach.

Awful. A friend of a friend was one of the teachers that died. And we know another teacher that thankfully was alright.  Scary sheet.

The FBI has confirmed that the alleged shooter who killed two students and two teachers and wounded nine others at a Georgia high school Wednesday has been on its radar as a possible threat since last year. 

 

This would be too on the nose if someone drew it as a political cartoon 

The FBI's Atlanta Division Wednesday night said that it had received threats last year involving then-13-year-old Colt Gray, the suspect in Wednesday's shooting at Apalachee High School.

In May of 2023, the National Threat Operations Center received anonymous tips about online threats to commit a school shooting at an unidentified location and time, FBI Atlanta posted on X, formerly Twitter.
