He is right. That is the price we pay. We will not infringe upon the 2nd Amendment because people do horrible things. That isn't a lack of empathy but the fact that no action by another is worth losing our Consiitutional freedoms.

Fine, let's move on. There was a school shooting we can talk about in CO instead.

It would be awesome if this event makes you more philosophical towards the suffering and death of others, even for a week.

Lol you are so unhinged you are now pulling that out? Wow you are out there.

In the conversation in here it is absolutely relevant as are all the acts of political violence we've seen over the last 10 years. Jan 6 is the big one among all the rest.

Justifying joy a guy died doesn't tie into that.

Being upset about Kirk's death but not about the violence caused by the Jan 6 protestors isn't logically consistent. It is partisan bullsheet and that's TJ's point. One officer died as a result of Jan 6 and there were over 100 injured not to mention the deaths of a few of the protestors.

Lets keep this to mass shootings yea?

Like the school shooting that happened yesterday

The identities of the victims have not been released, but they were also students at the high school.

The victims and the shooter were all taken to the St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, according to PBS and the Denver Post.

One of the victims had critical injuries and the other had non-life-threatening injuries, Dr. Brian Blackwood, head of trauma at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital, said.

Well we had another thread to talk about this in but Bojack closed it.

Are you aware I condemned the people who went in?

Probably because all the TDSers were clapping and talking ish about a dead guy like the ghouls they are

Did someone say something horrible like "He was just a man. And a very flawed one at that."?

My recollection is that you were all over the place on the subject of Jan 6. Perhaps I'm wrong. Did you condemn the pardons?

I created a new one

I suggest we make a bipartisan pact not to post in Procus' threads. He's notorious for doing this.

I thought he wasn't a suspect anymore. And what does him being Jewish have to do with anything? And people wonder why so many don't give AF about what happened to Kirk.

He was the first guy released. Charged with obstruction for some reason from what I heard. I'd be curious to know why

Conspiracy theory is that MOSSAD was involved as some say Kirk was anti-semitic

Except that it's been pointed out in numerous articles that he is no longer a suspect. He got charged with obstruction, but they've determined he has no ties to the shooting. So far they've detained 2 people and neither are believed to be involved. Posting this guy on social media and highlighting that he's Jewish is just dangerous points to why people are rejoicing.

Well yeah, the idea being his job was to create the distraction

Police charge people with obstruction all the time. He may not have moved out of the way fast enough, argued with an officer, tried helping when he shouldn't have, etc. and then got charged.

Overwhelmingly the most logical explanation, Occam's Razor

IF that were the case, he'd still be locked up. He wasn't a distraction. Conspiracy theorists spew too much nonsense
