It’s time to stop focusing on which side the shooter and their victims are on. We should all be on the same damn side. All these shooters have one thing in common, they have an untreated mental health issue. It doesn’t matter if the issue is caused by combat, or being bullied for who you are, the end result is the same. If you believe in the "deep state” but think it’s only the other side, you have drank the kool-aid.

Yes they are, but when we talk about crime statistics, especially in the inner cities, does it matter that it’s mostly POC? No, that only distracts from the real issues.

Really the real victim here is Kz. We've had lefty shooters, we've had MAGA shooters, but they've all been white recently. Gotta feel bad for the guy at this point

Some Mormons here told me they talked to members in that area and 3 and 5 year old kids were killed. That's not right or left. That has nothing to do with politics or who the guy voted for. That's just evil and there has to be a personal connection to hate Mormons that bad. They aren't on anyone's radar unless they are knocking on your door. It's all they are talking about here this morning. Shame.

I was thinking about that too, like who has a problem with Mormons of all people? Only he knows what was going on in his head, but could this be in some way a hate crime Against Mormons because Charlie Kirk was killed at a Utah college (Mormon heavy state obviously) and this guy just associated Charlie’s killer with Mormons? Despite no evidence that he was. That’s the only connection I could really make.

Ex Mormons? It's like any other sect, there are different groups with different levels of intensity. But in some cases the Church can be pretty punitive when people leave. In some cases they can be totally cut off from their family. But at the end of the day the guy was crazy. His reasoning isn't logical.

They can be and the same is true when people leave which is why I questioned if the Kirk kid was gay and ex Mormon. I don't know what this guy had against them but he was nuts you are right and it seems personal.

NBC news interviewed a guy who talked to the killer. He hated Mormons and thought they were the "anti christ”. Sounds like a religious nut who hated someone’s else’s religion
