Prime Day comes with 2 months of AMC streaming for 99 cents a month. One of the shows I've begun watching is NOS4A2. I'm nearly finished the book so I figured it was safe to start the series as it's 2 seasons long. Normally it pisses me off when the series or movie deviates from the book too much, but I'm fine with the deviations in the series thus far (Vic is older and for some reason knows one of the villains). I'm a big Stephen King fan and I've read just about all of his books at this point (I think I have 4-5 left). So I started reading Joe Hill (Stephen King's son). His books are similar in style and in some cases even more violent and creepy. I started with "Heart Shaped Box" which was awesome. NOS4A2 s a longer and more complicated story. Zach Quinto plays the main villain in the show and he's excellent at it. It's been a great series so far. 

Didn’t read the book so i don’t know the deviation but the show didn’t hook me.

I liked the book - the show not as much.  I watched the first season, but lost interest.  Joe Hill is great though.
