It's the signs of the times, "men shall be lovers of their own selves"......look at me, ain't I pretty.

My favorite UDFA this year.

I know the backfield will most likely be Sanders, Gainwell, and Scott but I would rather see Gainwell, Brooks, and Huntley.

The problem with Brooks is his pass protection is absolutely horrible.

Once he learns to pass block, he'll be the starter. Not sure they'll dump a ton of money to keep Sanders

Not sure what Sanders will cost.

Not sure that Brooks is the starter of the future. Not very fast.

A lot of uncertainty with that post....

Yes, I'd like to see Huntley get some reps also but give me Sanders over Gainwell.

Sanders is gone. He's playing for a good starter money contract on another team.

Practice squad most likely unless he absolutely tears it up in camp and preseason. The good news is we will find out pretty soon.

Penciling in a UDFA as a future starter before the first week of training camp is over? Bold.

Probably should t ever sink premium money into an rb

gainwell rb 1 in 2023 most likely

Gainwell is probably going to be the starter in 2023 unless Sanders takes a real team friendly deal. Sanders is a good player but he's not reliable when it comes to availability.

I think if Sanders isn’t good enough for a new contract they might draft another RB.

They already did that with Gainwell. We might not be high on him as fans, but I feel like the Eagles are very high on him.

I think a lot of fans are high on him. He looked good with limited opportunities last year. I like him a lot.

Word is Gainwell ran with the first team in practice today. Seems to me like Gainwell is going to be an important part of the offense this season.

And rightly so. He's a threat out of the back field. He's a better catching RB than Sanders and I think the team need to see what they have with him given Sanders may be out after this year.

It does feel like the Eagles are planning to move on from Sanders, but Gainwell better be ready. I thought he had a good rookie season, but he needs to take a big jump if the Eagles are looking to move on from Sanders. I always felt like Sanders was a talented player, but for some reason he’s never been able to put it all together.

Sanders should have his best year as an Eagle this season, if so, the Eagles will have a difficult decision to make.  Personally, I'd keep him unless there's a back that's clearly an upgrade and I see that in Gainwell.

BTW, everyone speaks of Gainwell's receiving ability as though Sanders has stone hands as a receiver, personally, I find no fault with him as a receiver.

Sanders isn’t close to the receiver he was as a rookie though last year he did improve his drop rate from the year prior. If there were just one thing that was an issue with Sanders then he probably has a contract right now, but he has several issues in his game.
