July 21, 20223 yr On 7/19/2022 at 7:20 PM, Procus said: The responses to Covid were for the most part on a state by state basis. In states run by Cuomo, Whitmer, Newsome and Wolf, Covid patients were placed in nursing homes putting the most vulnerable at risk and resulting in a higher mortality rate. Remember when Admiral Rachel Levine took his/her elderly mother out of a nursing home before the Covid patients were placed there? I guess that justifies his/her promotion to Admiral in the U.S. Navy New York, California, Ill, Pa., Mich. - all Democratic run states - also had draconian policies that extended onerous restrictions for far too long and hurt business and the economy. It's the main reason why people started leaving those states and coming to places like Florida and Texas. Which person are you parroting here DeSantis, Trump, or Tucker? I am not sure where they have been so I would not let them reside in your mouth like that. The amount of pure, unadulterated, ignorance that is in this post is mindblowing. Considering that I live in one of those draconian states, I am glad they put in the restrictions that they did. Places like Philly, NYC, Boston, etc are not like hill billy ville Florida. These places are wall-to-wall humanity, with people crossing paths with different walks of life, all day every day. They are perfect petri dishes almost designed to carry and spread disease. Considering that they are also hubs to the rest of the country, letting things just go as normal would have been disastrous on a Roland Emmerich level. Hospitals were already filled in these cities with restrictions in place, but without them, they would have been overrun. A lot more than the one million people that died would have lost their lives, not only from the disease but from the inability to get critical care because of how strained the hospitals would have been. None of that matters nor did it ever cross your mind because Tucker did not cover that in one of his idiotic rants designed to rile up those that refuse to think for themselves. Besides who cares about Americans when they live in a state where a Democrat is a governor, am I right? They are the enemy in your mind.

But people were fleeing from Blue States after their elected leaders reactions to Covid to come down here. Much better quality of life overall. There was an overreach of authority in many Blue States that devasted economies and resulted in a slew of other non-medical related difficulties. Feel free to disagree with me. But I assure you that the vast majority of those who escaped to Florida from Blue States vehemently disagree with you.

They are usually sick of shoveling snow and it has been like that for decades. It is not because of needed restrictions put in place during a pandemic. They may tell you otherwise because they are concerned about putting a target on their head from the low intelligence, hoodwinked Trumpettes that plague the south.
