Posted May 21, 20205 yr Not entirely sure how I feel about this . . . but it 'smells' like a mistake: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/eagles-should-hurry-up-and-stop-considering-lesean-mccoy-before-they-do-something-stupid/ar-BB14qNjr?ocid=spartanntp
May 21, 20205 yr We could use another back I think freeman is the better choice but shady isn’t a bad option.

Eagles could use the cap space on defense. Seems like we already have enough weapons on the offense now.
May 21, 20205 yr God I hope not...hes on the wrong side of 30 and I don't care for him either...seems like a scumbag

I'm thinking along the same lines . . . but there's a part of me that wants to un-do EVERYTHING that CHUMP Kelly ever did. Giving away DJax for nothing and then dealing Shady away for 'damaged goods' degenerate Kiko Alonzo top the list of DUMBEST moves ever made by an Eagles official or HC. However, taking Shady back now is like buying a 14 year old Honda with 180,000 miles on it.
May 21, 20205 yr I get the desire to have someone with some size who can close out games and be a solid depth option. That ain't Shady.
May 22, 20205 yr He’s great in pass protection and can still run swing routes out of the backfield, another Sproles type 4th RB would help us
May 22, 20205 yr I think they have interest in Shady but not as their first or even second choice. He's a guy they know, a guy that could be a decent option for them but I think they'd much rather bring in Hyde or Freeman.

Sure there are other more preferable and better options but if they don't work out? I think I'd rather bring Shady back than go with one of the young guys like Warren who we know nothing about.
May 22, 20205 yr Yea, Shady is a schmuck and we don't need any locker room problems right now. Besides, what we lack is a downhill runner who can run out the clock.
May 22, 20205 yr I've always appreciated McCoy's production, but he was never my preferred style of back. And he'll be 32 and complements Sanders terribly. No thanks.
May 22, 20205 yr I was thrilled when Kelly dumped him, and certainly don't want this jerk back when he's toast. Either Hyde or Freeman are far better choices right now. Bringing this clown back would be Roseman putting sentiment and personal feelings over what's good for this football team right now.

Wrong Howard would've been too expensive There's still a handful of tough running power backs out there that are cheap They should've drafted a dude in 4th or 5th round that had everything minus top end speed (hence why the RB was a mid round pick)
May 22, 20205 yr They don't need a high profile back, a cheap veteran to bring into camp will be fine. They also have some UDFA and sometimes pick up a guy from another team after preseason cuts. Plus Clement, and see who the best 3rd option is.
