It just seems dumb to pay for a veteran running back to basically be a third string guy when Holyfield somewhat proved he has that ability last year when he made the initial 53-man roster for the Panthers and Warren is clearly a guy who could have been drafted. Plus Clement probably makes the roster if he's healthy.

This seems like the Sproles experience all over again, in which we pay a guy who is past his prime and all he does is take snaps from guys who can do more right now with the ball in their hands.

I'm not against your approach of Holyfield but I don't agree that he's proven anything. He's proven nothing so far bud. And Clement has shown the last 2 years he can't stay healthy so that's a real problem. 

Shady is done. The Eagles need to leave the nostalgic BS out of the equation. Nothing personal, but Shady has ZERO left. If he can't help the team, don't sign him. He can't, so don't. Let him retire an Eagle after he retires from football.
