On Tuesday teams have to go from 90 players to 85. 

Who do you think the 5 cuts will be? 

My guess - 

• WR Lance Lenoir. Start thinning the crowded WR room
• LB Christian Ellis. Too much talent and we need playing time to see if it's one of the Johnsons or Stevens who we keep. 
• OT Jarrid Williams since Mailata and Dillard are now healthy
• DE Ali Fayad
• G Josh Sills. There will still be 7 able to play guard on the roster - Seumalo, Dickerson, Opeta, Awosika, Driscoll, Anderson, Dunkle

Other pissibilities - 

• WR Greg Ward. Give him a chance to catch on somewhere else
• TE JJAW, but not likley given the TE injury situation
• CB., One of the octuplets - McCain, Gowan, Vincent, Blackwell, Moreland, Goodrich, Jobe, Scott

 

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Strong cut. If he couldn’t even get into the first preseason game with Hurts only playing one drive, then obviously he’s shown absolutely nothing.

I expect that Strong is going to get his chance in the 2nd game. I doubt Hurts and the back up play at all.

I expect Strong to get some snaps in the 2nd and 3rd pre-season games, but IR makes a lot of sense. 

Hopefully jjaw that dude is beyond useless

It’s unlikely at the moment he needs a really strong showing in the next 2 preseason games.

Can’t see him being cut at this stage. Practice Squad or IR stash are the likely outcomes.

Just about everyone, including Saint Ray Didinger applauded the JJAW pick. 

How about this one ?   I can't believe Howie took Nakobe Dean when everyone else was apping on him. Makes about as much sense as comparing the JJAW/Metcalf picks.

Hell, he was picked at 64 ( I think), which means every team in the league passed on him at least once, if not twice.

Dunkle and Fayid have been cut so that leaves 3 more 

I'd guess a WR a DB and maybe a DT

Strong has such an injury history that they probably don’t even have to claim he has a dislocated eyebrow!

Strong is living rent free in the pro-Hurts gang's heads.  LOL.

JJAW is listed as out, not injury related.  It does look he is on the way out of the door.

It’s notable that he’s looked like garbage… and I’m not pro-Hurts. I mean obviously I’m rooting for the guy, but I don’t think he’s it. So yeah, I’m disappointed that Strong doesn’t look good. 

I believe Strong will be IR’d, but are we really going into the season with Sinnett as the #3?

"Garbage" is a strong term that has grown from a few media outlets saying he struggled on a few days.  That's the overactive imaginations of Negadelphia at work.  In reality, he hasn't gotten a ton of press either way. AND he's a UDFA...since when have expectations ever been high for those in that position?

OMG, give it a rest......the f------- seahawks passed on Metcalf the first time.  Metcalf missed half his college games due to injury, so he dropped in the draft like many guys do due to injury history.......Landon Dickerson and Nakobe Dean were consensus first rounders if not for injury history.

I think Sinnett sealed the deal last week.  He's competing with Strong now and Minshew trade concepts are likely gone.  Who has the higher ceiling between Sinnett and Strong?

Literally every reporter I’ve seen who was at camp has said Strong looks terrible.

Not being funny chief but there were people on here betting Strong would be starting QB by week 8.

As for the idea that suggesting a UDFA with gimpy knees who hasn't been getting good reports in camp might be cut is 'Negadelphia' I only look in here periodically nowadays because there's only so many pages of why Hurts sucks threads you can read before it all merges into one big snooze, when I saw he'd gone without an incompletion in preseason game 1 I thought that might at least cool the negativity off a tad but hot damn that Hurts sucks thread is still going strong, so spare me the pearl clutching on that.
