From what I have read JJAW was Lurie's pick, not Howie. Reagor probably the same.

My guess is that the Eagles are eyeing Amadi primarily for special teams.  He had some experience returning punts in Oregon, and the guy is supposed to be a gunner as well.

Howie missed on a number of picks and set the team back in multiple occasions.  But he should get the credit of pulling off some trades to benefit the team.  Trading JJAW when nobody thinks much of him is an amazing accomplishment.  For sure, what the trade brings back is not much, but it is something.

They traded him for a guy that was being reported the day before he was going to be cut. Not sure how much of an accomplishment that really is.
