New league-mandated roster changes were enacted this year, with teams needing to trim down from 90 to 85 players after the first preseason game.

After waiving two players Sunday, the Eagles cut three more players ahead of today’s 4 PM deadline.

Jimmy Moreland was claimed off waivers back in May and spent the prior two seasons in Washington, totaling 86 tackles, five passes defended, and one interception.

Jared Mayden spent the 2021 season in Philadelphia, appearing in 4 games and recording six tackles. Lance Lenior last played in the USFL with the Michigan Panthers.

Rosters must be reduced to 80 players by 4 PM next Tuesday following the second preseason game.
