When I left for college, Schuylkill County was your normal blue collar area - Lots of Eagles, Phillies, Steelers gear all over the place. Salt of the earth types. When I visited after college, the whole place magically morphed into NASCAR land with mullets as far as the eye could see. NASCAR then evolved into or joined forces with the oxycodone/opioid wave and is now unrecognizable compared to what I grew up with. Just Sad
