IF YOUR TIME IS SHORT

  • Fetterman has not called for releasing one-third of dangerous criminals.

  • In 2020, he said he agreed with what he said was a comment by Pennsylvania’s corrections secretary that the state’s prison population could be reduced by one-third without a risk to public safety. Fetterman said: ”We’re actively trying to audit our population to identify those inmates that are most deserving and does it make sense.”

  • 2 weeks later...

Mastriano is nuts; and so are the people voting for him.

Quote

What was the allure of these candidates, whom I could not imagine getting elected in Pennsylvania just a few years ago? His answer: "People are angry they can’t be terrible anymore.”

I'd say it's Allentown, but roughly accurate.

Wasn't always like this.  When I left for college, Schuylkill County was your normal blue collar area - Lots of Eagles, Phillies, Steelers gear all over the place.  Salt of the earth types.   When I visited after college,  the whole place magically morphed into NASCAR land with mullets as far as the eye could see.  NASCAR then evolved into or joined forces with the oxycodone/opioid wave and is now unrecognizable compared to what I grew up with.

Just Sad

It is strange. We go to a place near Jim Thorpe, and over the past decade it transformed into Trumpville land.

District 11 Baby!!!

The Trump political signs seem to have a lot of upkeep there, way more than any other political signs,  two years after an election.  That's for sure.    But I REALLY don't want to get into the reason why that would be the case.   It ends with no movement on opinions, nor further understanding - On your part 😜  - I kid, I kid

I have a long-winded and thoroughly exhaustive theory, it starts with "mental" and ends with "illness".
