QB and RB are fairly obvious - the question is how many do they keep, not who they keep. One option here is whether they pic k up someone who was cut at RB. Hurts, Minshew, Sanders, Scott, and Gainwell are solidly in concrete.

  • QB Sinett if they keep 3
  • RB Brooks or someone from the waiver wire if they keep 4

WR - this one is probably the most intreresting. The top 4 are set - Brown, Smith, Watkins, and Pascal.

  • Qestion 1 - do they keep 5 or 6
  • Reagor, Covey, and Cain are fighting for 1 or 2 spots on the 3
  • OK, I get it, I've gone with the fans preference, but 99% of us can't be wrong.

TE - Goedert and Stoll are locks

  • 3 or 4
  • If it's 3 is it Calcaterra or Tagiai

OL - vitally important, but not in the limelight

  • 9, 10, or 11 is the key
  • Top 9 are set. Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Seumalo, Johnson, Opeta, Dillard, Driscoll and Jurgens
  • That leaves Anderson, Awosika, Clark, and Opeta as being backups, the practice squad,  or cut and claimed by another team which is the most likely.

DL - the only real question is 4 or 5 at DT. Only 4 DE's on the roster so they all stay.

  • DT - Cox, Hargrave, Williams, Davis, are the top 4.
  • If it's 5 Tuipolotu stays.
  • DE - BG, Sweat, Barnett, Tarron Jackson

LB - Not much suspense. Beyond the first 5 no one really seems to care. It's the least discussed position

  • Reddick, White, Edwards, Taylor, and Dean are locks.
  • The 2 Johnson (Patrick and Kyron) as well as Bradley are likely to stay, but it's just possible one goes.
  • Stevens and Elliss are history

CB - It's the most competitive position.

  • Top 4 are solid. Slay, Bradberry, Maddox, and McPhereson.
  • Scott is a likely keeper due to his ability to play safety.
  • 6 others on the roster probably battling for one roster spot. Jobe, Gowan, McCain, Vincent, Goodrich and Blackwell all have tonight to carve  out their place.
  • Gowan, McCain, and Vincent are all ecperiences, Jobe, Goodrich and Blackwell are all undrefted free agents.

Safety - this one's gotten more attention than all the others combined because this is th eposition where we are seen as being the weakest.

  • Only one sure thing in Epps.
  • None of the other 5 - Tartt, Harris, Wallace, Balnkenship, Chachere - have separated themselves throughout camp or on the field.

My picks are in bold - what do you think?

I don't think Opeta is a lock at all. In fact if I had to guess, I would say he's the odd man out.

I also don't think Cain is going to make it. I don't remember fans caring about him last year when he was on the practice squad.

I'd put Gowan ahead of Jobe.

Whoa you don’t think Anthony Harris makes the 53? Isn’t he our starting FS?

Reagor is making the roster, that’s a guarantee. They aren’t going to own up to that blunder until they 1000% need to and we’re not at that point yet.

We also lose cap space this year by cutting him. As far as 6th string WR’s go, he’s probably one of the NFL’s best?

If they dont find a trade partner for Reagor, he will sadly be on the team.

not many people factoring in special teams players like Bradley and after last night Allen. There is always that one guy who will make just for his abilities on SP.

Lastly, Eagles are one of those team that always likes having a 3rd QB on the 53. Not sure who it is or if that player is on the roster yet but I would think they stick with 3 like always.

Most 6th receivers can play special teams on some level. He doesn’t do that well on any level of special teams. Maybe if he focuses on returning kicks and punts he might be a salvageable player.
