Howie might have to overpay for Chuck Clark. Tartt just hasn't shined at all, Harris is below average, can't couln on a converted midget corner in Scott, Chachere's niche is speckal teams and Blankenship is an undrafted rookie free agent.

Dillard - The Cots still have Matt Pryor starting at left tackle - Dillard would be a huge upgrade. Problem is they already traded their 3rd round pick and I don't think they'd be happy sititng out the whole 2nd day. Steelers and Saint are outside possibilities. Bottom line - I don't think they get enough value to move him.

Reagor - who would really wnt him and what would they give up for a 4th receiver? I don't think Howie would let him go for a 6th and if I were a GM I wouldn't give up anything else. I've heard talk about dead money, but it's a cost either way. If we keep him we pay. If we cut him we pay. Cut him and keep Cain. I can see him as part of a package for Chuck Clark since the Ravens have a thin receiving corps.

Minshew - With Jimmie G about to hs the market I don't think there's a possibility here. That being said the Eagles value a quality backup and neither Sinnett or Strong have/will ever be included in the same sentence with those words.

Cox - that would be a surprise, but they were working on trading him last year. If he were to be moved Marvin Wilson would be the 5th tackle.

His new contract makes it impossible to trade him

Probably not ... out of pride.  But I would, just to unload the salary.  Plus then it frees up a roster spot for someone who would contribute more (Allen or Cain ... maybe both if we go 6 WR).

Minshew is untradeable IMO.   This team has a chance to make some noise this season.   You don't trade your one and only quality backup.   Minshew is one of the top backups in the league.

I also think you have to keep Dillard as a backup to maybe the most important position on the OL (other than maybe center ?).

So what??,

He had the best defensive performance yesterday.

Baltimore's not trading Clark. Kyle Hamilton has been mediocre at best this pre-season and left the most recent practice with an injury, they got abused on the backend last year because of injuries. They aren't going to dump their depth.

Not to mention that Hurts is a running QB, so more likely to miss some time than most QBs.  It does not make any sense to rely on Sinnett as the backup QB.

Allen would give this team SOMETHING, even just on special teams. Reagor gives this team NOTHING. He has a loser mentality, and you need to get that sheeeet outta the locker room. Like now. It's past time- do it.

I feel like I’ve seen this before somewhere.

Seems like the Eagles could use some safety help, but I really feel like other teams need to wow them to get Minshew or Dillard. History has proven to the Eagles that a quality backup quarterback is a must. They also have worked hard to build the depth of the offensive line, but there isn’t much behind Dillard. Right now they probably would get more for Dillard in a comp pick than they could from other teams. There’s a better chance he’s moved around the trading deadline when teams are missing players and trying to make a playoff push.

Have you seen the safeties in the league? There really isn't that many good ones. For every team that does have a good safety the other one sucks.

Eagles just made a move to improve their safety situation.

It can get better but I'm saying safeties aren't a strong position across the league

Right now Howie has definitely improved our safety situation. There aren’t many holes left on this roster.

Minshew and Dillard are the main back-up on their respective position.  Can't trade them even if on good deal.

Reagor can go.  Trouble is not many team would want him.  If Howie finds a way to move him, that opens a slot for a WR.  Allen and Cain are the possibilities.
