time2rock Posted September 1, 2022 Share Posted September 1, 2022 ROSTER MOVES: EAGLES SECURE THEIR QB3 By Victor Williams August 31, 2022 When the Eagles announced their initial 53-man roster, just two QBs were on the depth chart after waiving Reid Sinnet and UDFA Carson Strong. GM Howie Roseman stated yesterday that they’ll find a third quarterback, and they did just that this afternoon. First reported by ESPN’s Field Yates, the Eagles have claimed former Saints QB Ian Book off waivers. Book has one NFL start to his name, going 12-20 passing for 135 yards and two interceptions (while getting sacked eight times) in a loss to Miami. In preseason, Book completed 42 of 65 passes for 315 yards and two TDs to go along with 121 rushing yards.
