The Eagles stole headlines once again yesterday, agreeing to trade with New Orleans that netted them rising star Chauncey Gardner-Johnson.

CGJ and the Saints grew too far apart in contract negotiations, opening the door for Eagles GM Howie Roseman to pry him away. Philadelphia only had to part with a 5th and 6th-round picks to acquire Gardner-Johnson’s services — and Saints fans were less than enthused.

I heard on the radio that he was going to practice but not practicing because of his contract renewal. I wonder what the Teflon Don promised him.
