Posted May 26, 20205 yr This happened in 1993, BUT a 6 episode series just came out on NETFLIX a few weeks ago. I personally think these people were a bunch of morons. They weren't exactly innocent either. Innocent people don't have govt. agencies investigating them for no reason. They had a stock pile of weapons. You can't exactly kill federal agents then expect them to let you barricade yourself s for weeks/months. I can't believe the number of people who get brainwashed by religious BS

Federal and state agencies investigate innocent people all the time.

May 26, 20205 yr This was on Paramount(I think) a couple years ago Also as others said stockpiling guns isn't illegal What I thought was crazy was the men were basically cuckolded. IIRC wasn't David banging majority of the women both married and single? That was a mess of an incident though
May 26, 20205 yr Waco's version of Move. I'm pretty sure, that when the government starts mowing down women and kids, it is in the wrong. If Move or Waco, is the best you can do, your best sucks and you should resign in shame.

They shot tear gas in the home, and several people testified people in the home had a chance to leave at that time but didn't Investigations suggest the Branch Davidians started the fires, but we'll never 100% know Back to your words...no one was mowed down
May 26, 20205 yr Wasn't Koresh a pederast that was raping the underage girls there? Wasn't that the issue? I was in high school when that happened but I remember that part of the story. I think the story often gets conflated with the Ruby ridge incident so Koresh gets more sympathy than he deserves (if the pederast allegations were true).

Hell, the NSA is monitoring every single phone call, text we make as well as our internet history. Quote The FBI has maintained files on numerous people, including celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, John Denver, John Lennon, Jane Fonda, Groucho Marx, Charlie Chaplin, the band MC5, Lou Costello, Sonny Bono, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, and Mickey Mantle. The files were collected for various reasons. Some of the subjects were investigated for alleged ties to the Communist party (Charlie Chaplin and Groucho Marx), or in connection with antiwar activities during the Vietnam War (John Denver, John Lennon, and Jane Fonda).

The remaining Branch Davidians, including the children, were either buried alive by rubble, suffocated, or shot. If it comes down to women and children being buried alive, suffocated, shot, bombed, or otherwise rendered into a DECEASED condition due to actions of the government, I think the government has failed.

They had plenty of opportunities to arrest him without going in with guns blazing.

Nothing says libertarian more than supporting the government killing unarmed women and children. Do you want to achieve peak libertarianism? Because this is how you achieve peak libertarianism.

Because this is how you achieve peak libertarianism. I just asked a question. I can't make a ruling until I get KZ's official investigation into whether the killing of suspects is justified. Maybe Koresh was seen looking around some newly constructed houses then jogging away. We just don't know for sure.

I wouldn’t have put my kids in the situation those dumbarse parents got their kids killed they had multiple chances to avoid it and didn’t

May 27, 20205 yr That’s what you get when you violate posse commitatus, and deploy the military, on US soil, against US citizens.
