After hearing that the GOP leadership of the PA State House suppressed information that one of their number tested positive for COVID-19 for over a week.

Other members sat in small closed committee rooms with an infected person and they were not told. At the very least, GOP leadership, presumably that tool bag, Turzai, informed a GOP committee member, but not any Democrats.

Is it terrorism? I think so. All of the GOP members who knew and said nothing are also accomplices.

"I can confirm every member or staff member who met the criteria for exposure was immediately contacted and required to self-isolate for 14 days from their date of possible exposure,” Lewis said in a statement.

He added: "Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose to keep my positive case private. Now that I have fully recovered and completed the quarantine as required by the Department of Health, I feel now is the appropriate time to share this information with the public and my constituents and I look forward to being a resource in sharing my experiences with COVID-19 and helping our community navigate this crisis together.”

14 days later, he makes a statement and people he worked with found out last night.

Apparently, Democrats he worked in a small committee room with, did not meet the criteria for being informed.

State Rep. who got sick says he contacted the House and followed CDC guidelines to contact those who may have been exposed.

We worked together and followed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s workplace exposure guidelines to determine exactly who I may have been in contact with, and who I may have possibly exposed to the virus.

I can confirm every member or staff member who met the criteria for exposure was immediately contacted and required to self-isolate for 14 days from their date of possible exposure.

I understand the concern across the aisle, especially among those who may be at higher risk. But if they weren't at risk of exposure while he was infected, then they didn't have to know.

Waiting to see the fallout from this... If it turns out people were exposed and were not notified, then he's more than a liar. That is despicable. But since he is out of quarantine, is well, and we haven't heard of any other members getting sick... Maybe he dodged a bullet.
