Hell no. We fleeced Minnesota trading that guy away.

Now, if I could get rid of an owner, I'd jump all over that one. Especially if I could get rid of him before the end of the 1992 season...

Reggie NEVER should have been allowed to hit free agency.

"get"  what yer saying and I basically agree . . . with these caveats:  Braman is a triple-edged sword.

Yeah, he was a used car salesman treating the Eagles more like a commodity than a winning football team.

Yeah, he came from humble roots, was Philly raised & was the Eagles water-boy when he was a kid . . . so he was more like us than any other owner.

Yeah, he kept Leonard Tose from selling the team to Arizona.

But   . . . letting Reggie go and then lying about it was unforgivable.

Actually, let me amend that by saying: either Braman & Gamble lied about their efforts to retain Reggie   or   Reggie and his wife lied when they said they never heard anything from the Eagles. One of them _HAS_ to be lying, but I don't know who . . . for sure.

Basically any player or coach chosen changes the road to actually getting the super bowl.

Lots of good options.  I'll stick with one per decade of my fan-lifetime.

1980s - lots of options, but I'll go with Kevin Allen.   How nice would it have been for the Eagles to grab the very next OT taken in the 1985 draft - Jim Lachey - instead of Allen.  Whoa.  Bad pick, bad dude.   Honorable mention: not trading away a first round pick for Ron Solt would be a nice mulligan.

1990s - lots of options here too... but I'll stick with the developing theme - 1st round draft pick that doesn't come back after his rookie season.  1994 first round pick - Bernard Williams - who actually played fairly well as a rookie, but was suspended for drugs and never even bothered to apply for reinstatement.   Honorable mentions - Antone Davis.  Bruce Walker.

2000s - Leaving the draft pick theme, moving to a new theme - how about BAD free agent signings.  Blaine Bishop gets the nod for me here.  If he's not on the roster, then maybe Michael Lewis plays against Tampa as a rookie, and the Eagles manage to win that NFC CG.  Honorable mention - Mike McMahon

2010s - Let's remove the Dream Team quote... Vince Young.  Easy pick.   Honorable mention - Ronnie Brown.  Still trying to figure out what he was thinking about when he tried to 'throw a pass' at the goal line when he was stuffed at the LOS and had his back turned to the LOS.  One of the worst football plays I've ever seen.

Which only got us even for the fleecing we took when we traded Foles for him.  Plus we had to put up with Bradford as our inept starting QB.  I would have liked to see what BD Nick could have done as our franchise guy.  What a shame we never got that chance.

I wouldn't remove him but I never understand the Buddy Ryan love. Never won a playoff game. I was also pretty young though. I wouldn't remove Chip though because that brought us Doug. Ray Rhodes?

SAME. Lots of wins, crazy good defense. Bu the way he under utilized Randall and the offense was criminal

And, like Buddy, he was a defensivly oriented guy.  He also had no patience for Randall's 'diva' trendencies.

And if you're superstitious he was voted 'NFL Coach Of The Year' for 1995.

I loved Buddy because he made our defense feared and respected.   Watching those great Buddy (and Bud Carson) defenses were some of the best times of my life.

He was a great Defensive guy that's for sure. Much better suited as a DC.

Buttfumble- that guy was the worst. Team absolutely fell apart when he came in.

Alot of people did. I did not.

1. Every single ex division rival player. Especially that punk B Demarco Murray. He's top 3 for my most hated players of all time.

2. Every single CB since Asante Samuel(minus Pat Rob). I think Samuel has more career INTs in an Eagles uniform than any Corner who has played or is currently playing combined.(minus Pat Rob)

Who was the CB the Eagles signed from Seattle? He only played slot his whole career and benefited from the L.O.B, so the idiotic Eagles decide to sign dude to a 6 year contract for millions to play outside corner.

3. I'm not gonna even mention a certain former head coach.

I know that. I think most understand the butterfly effect. I’ve mentioned this numerous times. I think people need to realize threads like this are just thought experiments taken in a vacuum.

I think Chipper didn’t use him right, he could have been a big contributor.
