EAGLES WR AJ BROWN BRUSHES OFF TREVON DIGGS’ ATTEMPT TO ‘APPLY HIS DOMINANCE’ IN WEEK 6

If you’re going to try and trash talk against anyone on the Eagles roster, WR AJ Brown is probably one of the last ones you’d want to cross.

Apparently, Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs didn’t get that memo.

On the first touchdown drive of the game for the Eagles, the Cowboys defensive back had some choice words for WR1.

When Brown was asked about the confrontation at his locker following the 26-17 victory, the Eagles wideout didn’t reveal what said during the exchange, but he provided some insight into why the two butted heads.

"I feel like, the guy was trying to apply his dominance, but I wasn’t going for it,” Brown said. "Two dawgs just bumpin’ heads.”

After the Eagles put up 20 unanswered points against Dallas in the first half, the Cowboys began to unravel. Dallas had three unsportsmanlike penalties on the night, one of them coming against Diggs when the cornerback took off his helmet in frustration following the final touchdown drive of the night from Philly.

For the record, Diggs actually did a fine job covering Brown on the night. When the two were matched up against one another, Diggs surrendered just one reception on two targets for 11 yards.

Nevertheless, the Eagles pounded the rock on Sunday night, racking up 136 yards on the ground while controlling the ball for over 34 minutes. This game plan essentially rendered Diggs useless. And as you can see, the Dallas defensive back wasn’t very happy about it.

"We just kept coming, kept coming, kept coming,” Brown continued. "We noticed some heads started to drop. So, we knew we had them on the ropes, we just had to finish.”

After the Eagles final touchdown drive, the fate of the game was sealed. QB Cooper Rush threw his third interception of the night on the ensuing possession, allowing the Eagles to wipe even more time off the clock and walk away victorious.

As it stands, Diggs’ Cowboys now sit in third place in the NFC East with a 4-2 record, behind the 5-1 New York Giants and our undefeated 6-0 Philadelphia Eagles.

Diggs is so full of himself. I know that he's a play maker and he does get turnovers but he also gives up a lot of big plays. He may want to rethink trash talking one of the best WRs in the NFL in the future.
