I'm seeing people talk about "well, we have this network effect, now we just need a functionality."   

Look, it's one thing to speculate on ETH or whatever. That might actually have some revolutionary applications. But this Doge stuff is like a fun house version of the dotcom bubble. Everyone is buying it because it's funny or they saw Elon Musk tweet about it. Just pure insanity

Im not disagreeing with either of you at all. Not even a little bit. What I do know, and what is really care about, is that there's a very high probability that when I cash out at some point tomorrow, im going to make a very large profit. Anything else about it, I dont care about at all.

And that's fine. If you understand you're gambling and happened to win big, I'm happy for you. I just worry about the thousands of people who are buying in now because of tiktok memes thinking they're buying the next big thing.

This is where I'm at. I bought months ago, invested a relatively small amount of money and am about to cash out thousands with zero effort expended and virtually no risk because my initial investment was not a big deal. Not really a "waste of time" IMO.

I understand getting in now is probably pretty dumb, but I don't think anyone here is in that situation.

Yeah I don't get it either. If I am wrong someone correct me, but most of the people talking Doge in here dropped a bit of "play" money in it when it was selling for a couple pennies. Pretty sure nobody here took a second mortgage on their home and dumped it all in doge @.40 cents a coin.

lol I feel like crypto snobs get super jealous some people are making money on something they don't believe in. I understand doge has no inherent value/utility, I'm just enjoying riding the wave of hype to a nice profit on something.

I have no doubts that Kz is missing rent payments to his mom and putting his entire Kmart paycheck on doge today, but I can't say that I really care if it turns out to be a bad investment for him.
