Anything with lots of food coloring (as someone referenced earlier) means lots of green crap for days.

If I'm running late, chocolate pop tarts on the go.

I've never got on the pop tart bandwagon. I've always hated those

I totally forgot about Corn Pops.

I love cereal always have. I don't think my taste has really changed much though I've always liked the healthier cereals. Honey Nut Cheerios was always and still my go too. Once in awhile if I want to indulge I'll get a box of cinnamon toast crunch and slam it in a day or 2 lol. Other then that maybe fruity pebbles, life, golden grahams or golden crisp.

Now it's still Honey Nut Cheerios, special K cinnamon and pecans and cinnamon Cheerios.

Love Special K, Life, Cheerois regular and frosted, Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, Sugar Smacks, Lucky Charms, Cocoo Puffs

Unpopular opinion... Cereals suck. Why? Because milk is horrid unless in coffee, milkshakes or used to make ice cream.

damn I forgot about count chocula and booberry cereals. I do find them once in a while but they don't seem to be in constant stock in my area.

Those were horrible.  My brother liked them.

They only make it for Halloween now

I love cereal but try to stay away from them as I like all the sugary ones that are no good for us. The exceptions to that would be Cheerio's which I've been eating as far as I can remember, and I like Total.

you hate cereal, but eat one of the worst there is when you have a multitude of other ways to get more fiber in your diet ?

I like it. :afro:

Im only 3 posts into this thread and very disappointed already. Honey combs? Mini wheats?

good grief man.  Cinnamon toast crunch.  Captian crunch w/crunch berries.   Cocoa puffs. Frosted flakes. Apple jacks. All the bomb.

I'm a fan of cereal. First thing I bought with money I made cutting lawns, i spent on a box of Captain Crunch and a gallon of milk. I had to buy milk and hide the cereal - house with 5 kids. Nothing was safe. My mom bought Grape Nuts and Shredded Wheat. Cheerios if we were lucky.

Grape Nuts. A cereal that no amount of milk will let you eat a bowl of.

Grape nuts are nasty.

no grapes.  No nuts.  Wtf?

With good reason.  Those are just terrible  right up there with sugar smacks

it was considered a treat if a box of LIFE arrived for christmas but my cousins (or someone in the family if i remember correctly) got those packs of mini cereal  boxes. of those, I enjoyed applejacks the most.

Applejacks, frosted flakes, corn pops, and i cant remember what else was in that combo pack.  The corn pops would just sit for months and nobody touch them.

My wife loves cereal - I can usually take it or leave it.

It is a good vehicle for banana slices, though.

Yeah.   Cheerios with banana slices is the ticket

FYP...

Super Sugar Crisp, Alpha Bits, and Corn Flakes were staples.

I'm old school: still dig Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams and Cinnamon Toast Crunch above all.

I was about to say I haven't had cereal since my 20's but I forgot about baked goods.......

I rarely eat breakfast or even lunch. But if I have cereal I would eat really Life as one of the very few cereals I like soggy! Yes you heard it right!

good recovery, sir.

  • 2 weeks later...

Some of my favorites were those Kellogg's brands from the early Seventies - when the brand was aiding and abetting CBS to promote one of their Saturday morning shows of the day, if you will.

most important rule is no milk. ever.

reeses puffs are the best.

cinnamon toast crunch is right up there.

captain crunch and crunch with berries are good.

honey nut cheerios. and cinnamon oat cheerios are real good.

sometimes a little cracklin oat bran is nice too.
