Eagles -10.5

They got their work done at Houston but didn't cover.

At home against a divisional rival off a mini-bye is different.

-10.5? After the way they played tonight. No sorry that's too much for a division opponent. It'll be a lot closer than that.

I’m actually more concerned with the Commanders now than I was when their other quarterback was under center. Still should be a win, but it’s going to be closer than the last win.

Oh for sure it isn't going to be easy. But a mini bye to prepare against a team which we really should just be beating should put us in a very good position.

It’s at home also which will help. Absolute certain win with the other QB, but now I am just stating it is a win.

Didn't really seem like they game planned much against Houston. With that said. Mailata has been put on notice today. Definitely one of if not, the worst game he's ever had. Davis out has shown we can't stop the run. 10.5 seems a bit steep. BUT, over 1 week to game plan should help and got more tape on Heinicke.

I don't know if they cover that spread and don't care. I'll take a W by 1.

Seems reasonable, though I might have put it at 9. I’d probably bet the Eagles regardless. We abused their OL the last time so I see no reason they can’t again.

Heinicke will get it out quick/throw it away unlike Wentz.

We're not gonna get 9 sacks against heinicke thats for sure.

Eagles to win by less than 7

Overall I think Mialata would be better suited at RT than LT and he’s been susceptible to the speed rush on the blind side. I don’t think the team should let Dillard just go, because I think he’s better suited to play LT. If Lane retires at the end of the season that’s probably a better option than trying to find a new RT.

At least half of those sacks were on Wentz trying to make a big play and failing to take what the defense gave him.

Birds 30 Skins 20

If Wince was playing, this would be an auto 2 TD win.

Heinicke concerns me a little, he's a gamer.

People are taking way too much away from "the way they played” against Houston. Thursday night is almost always a slop fest with so little prep time.

It won’t be closer. They’ll smoke the Commies just as bad as they did the first time, if not worse.

I think Chase is finally back for this game right?

No I'm not really even looking in to the way they played yesterday. They went on the road on a short week and won by 12 despite not playing well. I just think against a division rival who's found a bit of form it'll be closer than 10.5.

Siri took blame for the sacks - didn't have the players synced- and JM paid for it.  Some of his struggles the last few weeks have to be owing to trying to play with a shoulder harness.  That can't be easy.  I thought at one point last night it might be better to sit him for Dillard until healed......but I was saving my angst for Gannon so I didn't dwell on it.

I’ve thought the same thing.  It took a while, but Dillard seems to have developed. On the other hand, he didn’t fare well on the right side when Lane was out last season. Mailata could be a good long term fit there if Dillard can anchor the left over the next couple of seasons.

Heinicke is awful. I predict that by the time Wentz is healthy, he will be forgiven.

lol --- The ref bails him out after his terrible decision to throw into triple coverage:

Both are awful, but we will see. Wentz will take bad sacks trying to be the hero. Neither quarterback is the future for that football team.

This is the game Robert Quinn scares the rest of the NFC.......this is the game he starts to pile up sacks and hurries.

Would be nice that. Go in and get multiple sacks. Heincke isn't that good and neither is that OL. Get after them early and often and rattle him.

At first I thought you mean Wentz for us. I was thinking
