Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Handing out 10 awards from the Eagles-Raiders game - PhillyVoice
The Eagles were obviously not going to be as potent on offense in transitioning from Carson Wentz to Nick Foles, but Monday night really revealed the differences between the two players. Everything Foles does is slower. His release is slower, the ball gets to its target slower, decision making is slower, his foot speed is obviously slower, and even with Wentz often holding onto the ball longer than most quarterbacks, it seems that the time from snap to throw is significantly slower. The Eagles' offense, led by Foles, just looks like it's in slow motion.

8 winners and 5 losers in the Eagles win over the Raiders - BGN
A win is certainly better than a loss, but the Eagles 19-10 victory over the Raiders wasn’t that much better than not winning. Stick some coal in the offense’s stocking.

Eagles Earn #1 Seed With Dominant Win - Iggles Blitz
I skipped the Raiders game, but saw the Eagles won 19-10 so I assume things went smoothly and everyone is happy. Right? After watching that game, part of me wishes I had skipped it. Ugh. The Eagles did win and made some clutch plays, but that was a bad performance by the offense. They gained a season-low 216 yards and needed an end of game defensive TD to get to 19 points. Nick Foles really struggled, going 19-38-163 with 1 TD and 1 INT. I wish I could tell you the numbers are deceiving, but that’s not the case. He played poorly. More than a few people went into panic mode with "The season is over”.

There's no hiding for Foles — he has to be better - NBC Sports Philadelphia
Nick Foles didn't try to hide from it. He was honest. "I didn't play good enough," he said. "Absolutely. I've got to play cleaner." The Eagles beat the Raiders, 19-10, on Christmas night at the Linc. They're 13-2 and clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC. If they keep winning, the next road game they play will be in Minnesota at Super Bowl LII. But if Foles plays like he did Monday night, they're not gonna get there.

Eagles' poor play on third down is cause for playoff concern - Daily News
While they managed to beat the Raiders, 19-10, and clinch home-field advantage through the NFC playoffs, their joy over the win was somewhat muted by the fact that they converted just 1 of 14 third-down opportunities against a Raiders defense ranked 27th in the league in third-down prowess. "One for 14 is not pretty high,’’ coach Doug Pederson said after the game. "When you’re 1 for 14 on third down, you’re not doing very well on first and second downs.

'We gotta be hard on ourselves': Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson reacts to sloppy win over Oakland Raiders - PennLive
The Philadelphia Eagles clinched home-field advantage with a 19-10 win over the Oakland Raiders on Monday night, and the victory didn't come in particularly pleasing fashion. While rookie Derek Barnett's touchdown as time expired ended the game on a high note, the Eagles still made mistakes in all three phases of the game and left plenty to be desired, especially for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations. That isn't lost on coach Doug Pederson. "We gotta be hard on ourselves as coaches and players looking at this film moving forward and get things fixed offensively," Pederson said. "I thought defense played really, really well, kept us in the football game. ... Team effort, though -- found a way and sitting here today 13-2."

Mission Accomplished: No. 1 Seed For Eagles - PE.com
There are going to be some games in the course of a 16-game NFL season when the offense just … can’t … get … anything … going. Monday night was one of them for the Eagles. Fortunately, the defense and the special teams were there to do the heavy lifting as the Eagles surged late to beat Oakland, 19-10, and clinch the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs ...

Merry Christmas, NFC: The No. 1 Seed Eagles Suddenly Look Very Beatable - The MMQB
You don’t want to overstate the importance of one game. But Foles threw far better sideways than any other way Monday, and he piloted one drive of more than 14 yards in his last nine possessions against a team with a porous secondary in a major swoon entering the game. He was inaccurate, continued to have trouble finding top receiver Alshon Jeffery (two targets, zero catches) and inspired zero hope that when the games matter he’ll be able to flip some switch and respond like a playoff quarterback should. Foles now has a five-point win over the moribund Giants and an all-time lucky win over the disorganized (that’s putting it nicely) Raiders. The next game he has that means something is nearly three weeks away. The Eagles’ staff has a lot of work to do to find some way that Foles can perform competently to win a playoff game.

The day after: Where do Nick Foles and the Eagles go from here? - The Athletic
On the other hand, he could look exactly like he did against the Raiders. When Foles looks bad, he looks really bad. And Monday night's game was not necessarily a real outlier. It's a performance that Eagles fans who have watched Foles have seen before. That's what makes the future so tough to project with the Eagles. There's good Foles and bad Foles and really no rhyme or reason to which version will show up on any given week.

Eagles clinch No. 1 seed in playoffs but look shaky against Raiders - ESPN
Last week, the defense was the issue. This time around, it was the normally reliable offense that struggled. Quarterback Nick Foles (19-of-38, 163 yards, TD, INT) came back to earth following a four-touchdown outing against New York. He was off-target on a number of throws -- including a pair to tight end Zach Ertz deep in Oakland territory that could have put them in control. His high pass on a short throw to Ertz midway through the fourth quarter tipped off Ertz's outstretched hand and was intercepted by safety Reggie Nelson. If not for the defense's efforts, that could have been the game's key moment. Behind Foles, a team that had been red-hot on third down went just 1-for-14 in those situations.

Eagles clinch #1 seed in NFC; Vikings in line for #2 seed - Daily Norseman
On Monday Night Football, the Philadelphia Eagles won an ugly. . .and, boy howdy, do I mean ugly. . .game over the Oakland Raiders by a score of 19-10. That victory clinched the #1 seed in the NFC playoffs for the Eagles, meaning the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC, technically, runs through Philadelphia. Though, after tonight’s performance, I’m not sure how scared or impressed anyone should be by that.

17 stats that tell you everything you missed from Christmas weekend in the NFL - SB Nation
The Eagles’ 19-10 win over the Raiders was sloppy. The two teams spent much of the second half trading turnovers, starting in the third quarter and ending on the very last play of the game. The two teams gave the ball away a combined seven times, which is the most in any half this season.

Hopefully, Foles improves over his next three meaningful games.

I can't see it to be honest - the Eagles need to start Sudfeld now if we are going to have any chance.

Yup. Our chances went with Wentz.
