HOWIE ROSEMAN SENDS STRONG MESSAGE TO EAGLES AFTER ADDING LINVAL JOSEPH AND NDAMUKONG SUH

Eagles GM Howie Roseman saw enough after watching his team allow over 150 rushing yards in back-to-back weeks.

As a result, the Eagles have gone out and added two run-stuffers in consecutive days: 2-time Pro Bowler Linval Joseph and 3-time All-Pro Ndamukong Suh.

The signings come on the heels of two injuries sustained at the position. Standout rookie Jordan Davis was placed on injured reserve two weeks ago with a high-ankle sprain. Second-year player Marlon Tuipulotu joined him on IR this week after injuring his knee in Monday’s loss to the Commanders.

Eagles CB Darius Slay, who played with Suh during their time in Detroit, is thrilled to have his old friend back in Philadelphia. Slay noted that the message is clear from Roseman following the new additions — they’re going for it all.

"We’re not here to just be participants,” Slay said via Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer. "We’re going for the Super Bowl. Howie wants to see the confetti again.”

Fletcher Cox made it known that he "felt like crap” after playing 70 snaps vs. Washington; Joseph and Suh receiving a share of the snaps should help lighten the load.

Suh showed no signs of slowing down last season, tallying 27 tackles, six sacks, and 13 quarterback hits over 17 games with the Buccaneers.

I like the move. I don't see a lot of harm in it be honest because he's better than the options we were facing. He may not have a lot left in the tank but if he's got anything left that's a bonus.
