At 1st thought of the Suh signing, I thought Howie just did that so the Cows wouldn't sign him and he's still serviceable. Seems like OBJ is waiting till after Thanksgiving as NYG and Cows are apparently interested in his services.

So question is, would Howie make an offer to try and block that?

I would hope not. It’s not a wise use of resources IMO.

They were desperate at DT after 2 DT injuries.  They also needed improved run defense.   Howie went out and signed DTs that were available.

Teams make decisions that help them, they're not thinking about taking away a potential for someone else to sign.  Fans think like that, professional GMs should not be thinking that way.

Not with the money OBJ is suspected of asking for, no

I expect a lot more teams to be interested in OBJ's services. Chiefs come to mind. I don't know of a case where that has happened, but there is no reason it couldn't if the owner wanted to make it happen. These owners are billionaires and don't mind splurging on players.

Happens often in fantasy football for sure.

No point in signing OBJ anyway. The coaching cant even utilize the talent it already has.

No I don't think they would go after OBJ unless I guess they think Goedert may miss longer than they initially thought? Then they might as they may want to bring a new dimension to the passing game but I really don't see that happening.

I'm happy everyday that fans can't make decisions lol

Yup. If we had halfway decent coaches, we'd be undefeated.

I laugh at whatever team signs and pays OBJ. I've never seen a guy milk one play for so much prestige. This is the 3rd straight year he couldn't even play half the games. He has routinely been a distraction to teams that needed him to play up to his reputation. Any team signing him this late might be able to avoid the usual drama he brings since they will already be a winning team without him. Unless all their starters get hurt, they will be no better off than they are with what they already have.

Can OBJ play Tight End?

I think he still got talent.

Is he worth the trouble and money though? Hell no.
