Yes, talking playoffs 11 games into the season only because we have an opportunity to clinch a spot as early as next week.   :o

That seems pretty realistic too. Nice

Unfortunately I don’t see the Giants or Rams winning.

Is Barkley injured? Why do you think Hawks win?

Crap. I may need to change my pickem choices lol

I don’t know about Barkley, but the Giants have been beat up, and I didn’t believe they were as good as their record. Washington has been surging too. The Hawks have been falling back down to earth also, but the Rams are just bad right now.

If Stafford is cleared to play that’ll obviously give their chances a huge boost.  But overall Seattle does appear to be the better team.  Crazy how bad LA is this year … it almost seems like they are the team who lost the Super Bowl and suffering the hangover.  Meanwhile Bengals playing much better, relatively speaking.

I'm not surprised, the Rams bought that super bowl. It took everything they had just to win. They lost key players and others are just old. They will be terrible for awhile.

Just win and nothing else matters. We don't only want playoffs, we want home field !

Do you think? I'm not so sure there. I'm not giving the Rams much chance against anyone right now.

I'd be pretty surprised if ALL of those 4 things actually happened.

The NFL is too wacky/crazy.

I’ll go the obvious next step … we don’t only want home field, we want …

I was only posting this simply because the possibility exists, not taking into account how likely any/all of those outcomes actually are.

The fact that we can even mention the possibility of clinching as we prepare to play only our 12th game is impressive (and not because we have a commanding lead in a crap division like the Vikings).

The Eagles earned their 10th win on Sunday. Clinching a playoff spot is all but formality at this point. There are 6 other NFC teams with a real chance to get 10 wins: Vikings, 49ers, Cowboys, Giants, Commanders, and Seahawks. NFC South has to represent one of the 7 playoff spots, so one of those teams will be out of the playoffs. Practically the Eagles will have to lose out to miss the playoffs. (Mathematically Bucs need to go 5-1 down the stretch to get to 10 wins. Falcons or Lions must win out to get 10 wins. But that won't happen!)

The Eagles need to be focused on winning the division and securing Home Field Advantage. They are up 2 games in the division, 2 games on the Vikings (because the Eagles have the tiebreaker), and 3 games on 49ers, with 6 games left to play in the regular season.

There's a possibility the Eagles could clinch 1st round bye v Dallas.

11 Wins all but locks us in the playoffs.  I don't see all those other NFC Teams getting to 11.

Really?

Yes, The Bottom NFC Wild Card will probably be 9-10 wins at the most.   If the Birds win Sunday they will be in.  Even if they don't officially clinch.  Again Cowboys, Giants, Washington, Seattle and Falcons.   All of them aren't making it to 11 wins.

If we stall at 11 wins, playoffs are gonna suck! 1st round bye is a must for a road to the SB.

I know in the NFL pretty much anything is possible but I just don't see us going 1-5 to close the season.

I could see all of those except Seattle losing. Rams are trash.

Imo, cowgirls, vikes, 9ers get 11 wins

Home field.... Minnesota needs to lose 1 of the next 4 games. We need to win the next 4. If we lose last 2 games of the season. We will be tied with Minn at worst, but we hold the tiebreaker.

I think that's right.

I feel 3-3 would be the absolute worst that could happen.  I'm leaning more towards 5-1.   I have a feeling they will be resting starters on week 18.   Let say they drop 2 more.  14 Wins would be the Eagles All Time Record and they are 4 wins away from that.   Winning the next 3 would lock us for #1 Seed to me.   They would be 13-1 going into Dallas.  Again I see the Vikings dropping something also the Cowboys will not escape the AFC South without a Loss.  The Colts, Jags or Titans will get them, I don't trust Houston as they are clearly going for draft position now.    Washington and Giants play each other twice so someone is falling down further.  Giants play 4 NFC East Game down the stretch, there's no way they aren't dropping at least 2 more games.   49ers I don't feel will catch Us and Seattle just dropped two games in a row so I don't feel they are a threat to the #1 Seed either.  It's between the Birds and Vikes and who can hold up the longest.

I believe our 2 biggest threats to overake us for the #1 seed are the Vikings and Cowboys.  SF maybe has a slim chance but being 3 games out with 6 left is a bit of a challenge.  Fortunately we have head-to-head wins over both Minny and Dallas (although we play Dallas again).  Both teams have an easier schedule to end the season:

EAGLES:

  • Titans
  • @ Giants
  • @ Bears
  • @ Cowboys
  • Saints
  • Giants

COWBOYS:

  • Colts
  • Texans
  • @ Jaguars
  • Eagles
  • @ Titans
  • @ Commanders

VIKINGS:

  • Jets
  • @ Lions
  • Colts
  • Giants
  • @ Packers
  • @ Bears

We have the 13th most difficult remaining SOS while Dallas is 16th and Minny 28th:

Bottom line:  we can't afford to slip up here down the stretch.
