January 11, 20232 yr Yeah kind of a let down of a finale. Considering the filmed it without knowing a second season was locked in I wasn’t sure what to expect. They did set up some interesting things - slutty ATF girl flipping, the whole thing with Chickie and stealing one of his boys, etc. season 2 should be in line for some ass kicking. The one major issue I have is that he’s a mobster and kills a bunch of people in a small town in Utah and gets away with it for months before he gets turned in, like the police never questioned him or the bar owner or anyone about all the gun fights and why someone was trying to kill him and ended up shooting the ATF girl. I know the local cops were corrupt because they were on the bald Irish guys payroll but it’s like nobody cares that an entire biker gang disappeared.

Just like all of Sheridan's other shows - entertaining but you kinda have to suspend disbelief and just roll with it. I enjoyed it, and it was a pretty easy binge with all the episodes being around the 35-40 minute mark. Solid cast, too

They might say "Indian land" in the show because Dwight and his peeps ain't bout that PC BS. That at least explained away the shootouts and no interference there. Where that falls off though is ATF/FBI arresting him while he's at that bar. But I don't know how jurisdiction works with things like murder. There are enough native american casinos that criminals could just live/drink/eat party their indefinitely, assuming they had cash assets on hand or money located in off-shore bank accounts.

Ah that’s true - they don’t have jurisdiction. Good call!

Feds all have jurisdiction on tribal lands, but normally on reservations there's also a tribal police agency.
