The Eagles are laying a TD and then some up the turnpike at The Meadowlands. Seems like an honest line, although the Giants have covered 3 of their last 4, including yesterday's tie with Washington.  Tickets remain pretty expensive, so an Eagles "takeover," which we've seen in many stadiums, seems unlikely.  Good teams go on the road against inferior divisional opponents and come back with a W.  At first blush, I like the Eagles on the money line.  I think they win, but am not interested in laying a TD on the road against a team with a 9-3 record ATS.

Line: Eagles -7
Total: 45.5
Money line: Eagles -300/Giants +240

first of three straight road games ending in Dallas on Christmas Eve

I back these Eagles to be the first team in NFL history to go 16-1 in the regular season

I'm usually pretty bullish on the Eagles but I just have a feeling the Giants make this difficult. Daniel Jones always seems to play well against us. If I were a betting man, I'd take the points in this one.

On the road... After a big and impressive win and the Giants are desperate to get things back on track. This one will be a tough game.

I think that line is on point.

Early prediction:

Eagles 30

Giants 23

NFC East game.......and while it seems like an easy pick, these games are wildly unpredictable.  The eagles can't afford to lose this game with the cowpies game 2 games after.  Eagles, right now, need to go 4-1 over the next 5 to seal the 1st round bye.  I think the ViQueens lose a game or two over the next 5.  And despite all the typical, overreaction hype of the cowpies, they have another loss or 2 in their next 5 games.

I think the eagles got some bugs cleaned out of their system and were running on all cylinders against the Titans.  They're starting to feel the playoffs now and they'll come out firing against the giants.

Eagles 33 giants 17

They need to handle NY and Chicago to give them that free pass almost against Dallas. And going on the road for 3 straight games that ends against Dallas is a big big ask. They've got to win the games they are expected to win otherwise Dallas is absolutely going to be ready to pounce.

ST keeps it clean and D stops run, game is in the bag.  Eagles go to12-1.

I worry about Barkley in this one. He's a physical runner who has the speed to get to the outside. I think that's where this run D will struggle.

Giants are good for 1 TD, and 3 field goals.  Eagles are good for 3 TDs, and a FG.

Eagles 24, Giants 16.

Just need to win the next two year to make it so a loss against the Cowboys won't devastating to winning the division and the #1 seed.

The three straight is the part that concerns me about the Cowboys game. The Bears on the road smacked in between two divisional opponents could be a little bit of a trap too. Hopefully they’re motivated to clinch a playoff spot or the top seed at that moment or something to keep them focused.

I remember the Jeff Garcia squad that swept 3 straight division road games in 06 ending w Dallas (Christmas day iirc) to clinch the division. Good times

I worry more about Daniel Jones scrambling killing us. QBs seem to have success running against this D and we haven’t even faced any true dual threat QBs yet. Couldn’t believe Tannehil was able to run like that yesterday.

This cowboys team will likely be going into that game real high on themselves. Perhaps even a little over confident. Ultimately that game isn’t a must win for the Eagles though. I’d love to see it be a game where the Eagles don’t need it and simply run out the backups.

I hear you. But I always wanna crush Dallas. Something about their misery makes my heart smile. Crying fans in the stands, skip bayless raising his blood pressure on live tv...very satisfying and heart warming.

They’re just so delusional it’s no longer worth it to me. Seeing them cry does little to nothing for me. I guess I have surpassed my hatred for them now. I don’t have any respect for their fans. I feel nothing for them or their team. To me they seem like desperate middle children crying for attention and I just don’t really care to give it to them.

Divisional games are always tough so this one has me a little worried. I don’t think Hurts has played well against the Giants either. But hopefully they come out with another W.

How about a 13-1 vs an 11-3 NFC East divisional battle of the ages! It's been a long time since we have both been this good.  Do we have to watch the Cowboys put up another 50 burger against our 2nd and 3rd stringers like the end of last year? I just can't forget that joyous celebration they were having on the sidelines, ignoring the fact that it was a tainted victory..

Probably a moot point on that situation, since it's nearly impossible to lock up a #1 seed with 3 games to go, plus the Cowboys winning would put them ahead on the divisional record tiebreaker, making us have to finish at least one game up on them at the end.  With them playing crappy AFC South teams down the stretch, it sure seems like a must win to me.

Now putting in backups in the 4th quarter with a huge lead would REALLY be fun.

Well if Jones kills us then it'll be back to back losses because Fields will absolutely ruin us with his running.

The Giants have been beating .500 and below teams all season, every time they've met a team in form they've lost. They'll make a game of it but we should run out comfortable winners.

I think most said throughout the year they weren't as good as their record. I think their more recent struggles are off the back of them stepping back towards the mean a little.

No.

If the Giants win we will destroy the Bears and the Cowboys.

If we win the next two everything can happen Christmas.

After that hot start, Barkley has cooled off a bit. Probably just wearing down from such a heavy workload. Either way, he’s only averaging 3.6 ypc over the last 5 games. He had one big one against Houston in there, which was on 35 carries so still wasn’t a huge average.
