Maybe a little early, maybe not. The Birds look pretty damn good. SF was a bit of a worry but seems now to come down to the Girls which I think we can take, Vikings we know how that goes. Granted I don't take the Giants lightly but if both teams play their best it should a W. If they can get to the Bowl I don't think they match up poorly with any team. Seems very likely the KC may not make it past the Chargers. Winning the conference will be huge.

They need the 1 seed. Its 1 less playoff game and 2 home games in front of the best crowd in sports.

I had them as the 2nd or 3rd best team behind Buffalo and maybe KC. After watching 13 weeks its clear that Philly is better than both.

Buffalo was loaded but they are already down Micah Hyde and Von Miller so Philly is now the more talented team.

At this point expectations need to be changed. If they don't make the SB then I think it's a disappointing year. Going in to the year that wasn't the case but it is now. This team is so so good! So good. This team is the best team in the NFL. A lot can happen and a lot can change in the coming weeks but right now this team should be thinking SB and nothing else.

I'll be the first...

SUPERBOWLZZzzzZzZ

NOTHING will beat 17, cause it was our first.

But we didn't see it coming that year, so it would be great to win it this year, not just because nobody would see it coming, but also for Jalen.  Prior to the success of this season, he was mocked by many around the league, and let's face it... even on this board. I still can't stomach the GDT because of the stuff I was reading at the start of this season.  If we could win the SB, and have him on stage accepting the MVP of the game, I'd say 2 SBs in 5 years would make me one gosh darn happy Eagle fan.  In the meantime, one game at a time.

I think it's too early at least for me but probably because I don't want to get my hopes up... I really hope we win it all for Kelce and if he decides to go out on top it's a much easier pill to swallow with how well he is still playing

Didn’t the Packers and the Chiefs have that one seed locked up last season though? I meant don’t get me wrong it’s best if the playoffs come through Philly, but so far in the new playoff format hasn’t been that good to the 1 seed. Ironically the Eagles are better on the road than at home right now. It’s just one game but still.

Titans had 1 seed last yr and lost to Bengals

I remember my hope for '17 was "to be relevant in Dec" most will say the Carolina Thurs night game that yr let fans and the league know that team was for real then came the really lop sided wins over Denver, San Fran, Chicago and Dallas when I started to think that could be our year. Even after Wentz went down I wasn't ready to throw in the towel but never did I see Foles lighting it up the way he did.

I would have this team a notch below but w the landscape of the league they perhaps have a better opportunity

Yes.  One game at a time.

go for it. my sons are from the generation that grew up in the 2000s and swear it's a SB year. I'm from the 70s and am just waiting for the other shoe to drop but realize those are just my old habits and time to pass expectations onto the next generation.

we have a hell of a team though. playing as a team. philly way.

I am on 'pause' in regards to any SB talk. It ain't easy getting to that game.

Stay as healthy as possible, get a couple of guys back from IR, and see what happens week to week.

The NFL can be a wacky, crazy, wonky league.

It's never too early for us, as fans, to hope and dream. Isn't that the point? Eagles football is always something to look forward to, whether it's a 4-12 year, or a year like this one where we look like the best team in football.

We might get there, we might not. We might ish the bed against a team like Atlanta in the playoffs at the Linc, we might destroy Dallas in the NFCCG before winning the SB v Buffalo or Cincy by 20.

Any given Sunday - enjoy the ride while it lasts, and cherish the relief these Birds give us from the humdrum, from the necessary grind of bills and toil.

You jinxed them. Now we will lose the first game

They'll make it as long as they play well. I'm more concerned about the team playing well heading into the playoffs than I am about seeding.  I think they'll make it though, and actually expect them to win it this season.

Good I am not the only one thinking that they are likely to make it. Getting goedert back in the fold will be a huge plus, CJG as well but Blankenship has looked pretty good. The TE position did well without Dallas last game. Special teams finally looked good. Howie's additions on defense gave another boost. Hurts though is seeing the field well and has gotten better, night and day over last year. The #1 seed will go a long way. This was a good watch with Jalen on the cast.

Why, did you get some bad Chipotle?

Yeah the 17 team is better but overall the league is weaker now. Theres no team out there now even as good as the 17 Pats.

It will never feel like the 2017 team because they were the first. But were they any better? It sure was a deep team, they endured through injuries to key players. No matter who came up next, it felt like it always worked. This year, they had a good start with few injuries, but lately it's started to crack with Goedert/Davis out. It is starting to feel like 2017 when veterans like Suh and Joseph want to join the ride. I feel like this year's team started in a better spot than 2017, where 2017's team got better as they progressed.  Can they see it through to the end?

I think we make it to the SB. Wining will be a different story

At 11-1, it's definitely ok to talk about SB scenarios.

Of course it’s still early. There’s 5 more games left in the regular season and then playoffs. If they don’t get the 1 seed it will be even tougher. I won’t buy the hype until I actually see them in the Super Bowl again 😂

I do not think anyone around the league can put down Jalen, as much as the Eagle fans. We are the Ultimate perfectionists and complainers. My favorite comment of the year from TATE was when we were 7-0, and someone complained if did something differently we would be better. LOL

lol, cowboys barely beat the worst team in football. Vikings lost, starting to think SF is the team that will be the hardest team to beat if we face them in the playoffs.
