Thank goodness.  The last thing we need is Wallace bungling up plays on the regular.

The Eagles got some encouraging news on Reed Blankenship’s knee injury Monday morning.

Blankenship, making his second career start, left the Eagles’ game Sunday against the Giants at MetLife Stadium midway through the second quarter and did not return.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Blankenship was diagnosed with a low-grade sprain and will not need to go on Injured Reserve, which would sideline him for a minimum of four games. Garafolo said there is no timeline for Blankenship's return but called it a "short-term injury” quoting unnamed sources.

es g good news on Blankenship knee injury: report

"Arryn’s (injury) is looking like it’s going to be a little longer than we expected,” Sirianni said. "And so we will have to bring somebody in. Don’t really know how long it’s going to be. But we’re planning and we’ll obviously bring somebody in. We’re working through that right now.”

Siposs, 30, was seen in the locker room with a walking boot on his leg, the first sign that he’d miss some time.

Without Siposs, the Eagles will obviously need to add a punter and they are already bringing in 36-year-old Brett Kern for a visit, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. Kern hasn’t played this year but is a three-time Pro Bowler and was an All-Pro in 2019. He has played 14 full seasons in the NFL with the Broncos and Titans.

Great news, but that's still a 1-2 week injury. CJGJ should be back by then as well.

Thin at the Safety position. They don’t need new injuries coming up now.

Wallace could get injured most of the time i feel they would be better with 10 players then have him out there. heck just play another De and sack the qb over playing him.

Hassan Reddick can do both

There’s a real drop off in talent from our rookie free agent safety and our drafted safety. Also interesting that Ellis surpassed Taylor to make it to the main roster before him.

I only see status of the last game.

try one of the many search engines, google, safari, etc.................................

There's already a topic tracking injury updates on the 1st page, and some topics dedicated to player injuries like Jordan Davis.  I'll merge and posters can provide ongoing updates.  Also if you check media such as NBC Sports Philadelphia or twitter there will be updates from beat writers there.

I don't think it would be the same situation.  And FWIW, NFL players have been known to play through sports hernias.

Those that play through it though don't have the best results. Just hoping that's not the case with Lane and he just has a little strain.

I doubt its a sports hernia.  Hope not.
