Took forever getting the words, rewinding the walkman over and over, and I probably have a ton wrong. Anyway, fast forward to my honeymoon. We're in Treasure Island, Florida at a bar called Caddilac Jack's - had the best blackenened grouper I ever ate. There's a Miami Sound machine cover band. My wife goes up to the band and the next thing I know I am on stage playing this song for people who, clearly, never heard it before. On a rhythm guitar for a GLoria Estefan cover band. That was brutal, but I still like the song.

That was brutal, but I still like the song. They were my first concert at the Mann Music Center in 1989. Last summer, I did a gig opening for a band called The Minus 5. Peter Buck and Mike Mills were in the band and I hung out with them all night. It was surreal.
