To be fair, I don’t think anyone is saying the Eagles can sit the starters and beat Dallas. The argument has been that it doesn’t matter what happens in the Dallas game. They just need one more win, regardless of which game it is.

And I am arguing that the longer they go without that win, the less rest key players will get. Every team we play is still in the playoff picture and will be trying to win at all cost.

He was resting an injury he couldn't play with. Hurts already played with the injury everybody is panicking about.

Wentz threw a touchdown on a torn knee. McNabb threw four on a broken ankle. They both missed time afterwards. It Hurts can play then he will. If he can’t then he won’t. Ultimately it’s not up to any of us, but I don’t see how you can equate these two players. One rested while one who is way more important hasn’t yet.

all of you saying you are ok with losing to dallas, are full of crap and you know it, liars, you want to beat dallas so bad you can taste it

That's true. What's also true is that one wants to beat Dallas in the end, i.e. in the playoffs.  That is the MOST important thing.  I'd gladly accept the bad feelings of a loss on Saturday if I knew it would mean we would beat them in the playoffs.  That would be a far far sweeter tasting victory than winning this week.
