How do we play these last three games with our few injured.  Who needs to be playing at least some of these games to get up to speed and who should sit?  And why?

Porn stache Minshew

Yep.  I think everyone plays against Dallas in order to clinch.  If they beat Dallas and clinch the top seed, the starters should mimic the pre-season.  Maybe have the first team out for 2 drives in each of the last 2 games so they have at least a "little action" prior to the playoffs because 3 weeks off could be a little much.  Great to get everyone rested, healed up, etc but not so great in terms of "momentum."

The Eagles will always move on the side of caution, but I do think there are some things they want to get done. They probably want to get Jalen the passing record. They want Smith to go over 1000. They probably want all of the guys who are close to double digit sacks to get them. I think we see a limited amount of time to get these things done and as soon as they are those guys sit.

I just hope Jalen doesn't put the MVP before the Lombardi.

I don’t think Jalen cares about the MVP more than the rest of us do. He seems more more concerned with winning by any means than trophies.

He won't.  It's not who he is and he's already said that the MVP isn't a priority to him; winning games is.

Yep.  I know what he told the public, but you can't be human without thinking at least a little bit about the very real possibility of getting that.  We all know what happened to Wentz when he tried to push the envelope in LA.  I think Hurts does hurt after getting driven into the turf on that one run. I couldn't help wonder if he was getting hyped up of the Hurts/Fields comparison by trying to reach for that last yard.

They can't go a month and a half without real snaps and expect to win in the playoffs.

And very few teams fare well after their bye weeks.  Personally,  I'd like to see them play some time in all three remaining games.  If nothing more than keeping them sharp.

Yep. They need to play a quarter of the Giants game unless they are dealing with an injury.

And even the New Orleans game has incentive to win, I think.  Don't we get a better first round pick from them if they have a really bad season?

This is a really tricky one. You don't want your starters to sit for the next month as they need to play football. But you also need to protect players and make sure you get to the play offs fit and firing. For me I'd be playing the starters until such a time that they lock up the #1 seed. Then I'd be starting to manage players.

Secure home field throughout the playoffs, then do whatever.

That’s the one we all want.

ideally i was hoping they would do the full cowboy game, 1st half with saints and then the 1st qtr for the giants game.

Health and winning at least 1 of these games.

I think they can accomplish both soon.
