We'll call it Cowboys -1.5 but  -1, -1.5, and -2 are all widely available.  That's how much the general public loves to hammer Dallas in high-profile games (I thought it would open at a pick to Eagles -1).  The Birds are even on the money line which tells you what Vegas really thinks.  This will be an interesting one to track as the week moves forward.

Total: 51-51.5
Moneyline: Cowboys -120/Eagles +100

With only having to win 1 in the last 3 for home field, and the possibility of playing Dallas again, I wouldn't be surprised if the Botanist doesn't go all in this week. Not wanting to show them nothing.

Third straight road game, don't need to win it (though sure would be nice) and Dallas need to win to force us to need to win 1 of the final 2. Yeah that line seems about right I think. 

Even if the Eagles don't "try hard" to win this game, they might end up winning it anyway. Since the team that plays looser and with less pressure will tend to perform better.

Reports have been all over the place for Hurts. It sounds like he could miss at least two games. If Minshew can pull off a win in at least one of them then Hurts is probably out till the playoff game. I’m good with that although some might feel he will be too rusty. After all the carries/hits he took a month off could do him some good. 

Hurts played through it just fine Sunday. This "doubt" is a smokescreen. The Eagles can win and rest the final 2 regular season games. If we clinch the number one seed, that will be 3 weeks of rest for key players. I expect Hurts to start while there is still something important on the line.

Shoulder strain/sprain in the regular season with 3 games to play needing one to clinch equals rest him as long as possible. Shoulder strain/sprain in the playoffs means suck it up and play.

Suck it up for one more game and enjoy 3 weeks of rest or risk playing all our playoff games on the road. To me, it's a no-brainer for a team leader who already played with the injury. As I said, I think the Eagles conjured up some "doubt" for the media to make dallas prepare for a Minshew possibility. 

If the game was meaningless, it would be a different story.

But it is meaningless.  If we lose, what changes?  Nothing at all.  Unless you think we're going to lose all three of our remaining games.  In the grand scheme of the remainder of the regular season, losing this game means nothing.

In the grand scheme of things this game isn’t important enough to even go out there and try and give the Cowboys more motivation to try and hit their quarterback. Why bring up Jalen’s injury if they plan to play him? Isn’t he listed as doubtful right now? 

Resting hurts is the right decision under the circumstances - 100% 

It gives us a change to keep backups honest, should we get any further injuries in a game we don't need to win.

Exactly what do the Eagles gain by playing Hurts if he’s not 100% in this game against Dallas? I don’t think Minshew is special, but I believe he’s good enough to get a win in the next two games.
