If he was to get injured additionally, that would be bad for the Eagles.

So would having a couple of our other key starters injured because we weren't able to rest them for the final 2 games. Going all in for a win this week is the best and safest decision. If we win, Hurts will have 3 weeks to heal from any injury.

Maybe, according to your logic, we shouldn't bring Goedert back just yet, or play anybody else that is on the injury list and should rule out anybody that gets a ding in this Saturday's game. Time for Kelce to break out the bubble wrap again.

I sort of see your point, but risking Parsons teeing off on a guy with a sore throwing shoulder when you can just give him a week off to rest it up doesn't seem to be a smart play.

If Hurts plays he'll be under strict instruction not to risk it by running so you're not really putting the same guy on the field.

If I recall correctly, coming out of the Mini Bye, having time off affected, the timing of Hurt's with his receivers, and leading to the only loss of the season. That's my concern is the timing, accuracy, etc. with having too much time off. Rust builds up.

I'd take the Eagles plus 6.

Exactly.  And you know guys take shots when they know a guy is dinged, and after the scuttlebutt last week, you know Parsons would be all lathered up if a less than 100% Hurts was playing.

If you tell me that’s outstanding, I don’t know what to say ... he looked trash.”

I'm a little surprised Hurts wasn't out there but I think that puts an end to the debate. Hurts isn't going to play on Saturday.

Not for some, but I have a hard time believing he would be playing if he’s still not practicing too. Short week, in a game that doesn’t matter all that much. Play it safe.

Yeah he's not playing this week. And i do think that's the right decision.
