Posted December 26, 20223 yr Eagles are laying seven at home vs. New Orleans. This line was set before the Johnson injury news broke, but that won't move the number. We also don't know whether Hurts will be back under center so we'll be watching this closely all week. Line: Eagles -7 Total: 43.5/44 Moneyline: Eagles -350/Saints +260
December 26, 20223 yr My guess is Hurts plays this game so they can bubble wrap him til the playoffs.
December 26, 20223 yr I thought the line was -5.5 earlier today or did it jump? At -5.5, that read like a Saints line to me with a hint that Hurts wouldn’t play. -7 implies that Hurts is expected to play imo.

December 26, 20223 yr The Saints have been playing for their lives for weeks and need everything they have to squeak by horrible opponents. They're objectively awful.

December 27, 20223 yr Tampa plays Carolina at the same time Sunday. I was hoping Tamp would play and win before Phi/No
December 28, 20223 yr -7 given our injuries feels a little much. We should win but we are going to need some guys to return this week.
December 28, 20223 yr By the way, this line is now 4.5 in some spots. So the -7 line was assuming Jalen played. Doesn’t that scream like a Saints line?

December 31, 20223 yr Author The line bounced back to Eagles -6 at MGM (the book we use for this thread). It feels like a fair price, all things considered. I don't have a sense for the side, but under 42 seems to be the sharp play in this one.

Saints might score from time to time along the way.

Actually think that’s an Eagles line (would have expected it to be closer to -4/-4.5 with Gardner starting).
January 1, 20233 yr Author 30 total points? Seriously? I grossly misjudged Minshew and the overall Eagles offense without Hurts. I also didn’t see the complete mental collapse of the OL and thought this would be a 27-10 kinda deal. Blue Bell, we have a problem...
