Eagles are laying seven at home vs. New Orleans.  This line was set before the Johnson injury news broke, but that won't move the number.  We also don't know whether Hurts will be back under center so we'll be watching this closely all week.

I thought the line was -5.5 earlier today or did it jump? At -5.5, that read like a Saints line to me with a hint that Hurts wouldn’t play. -7 implies that Hurts is expected to play imo.

A win gets Eagles #1 seed and eliminates Saints from Playoff contention.

That means the Saints will be playing for their lives. Wont be an easy game.

The Saints have been playing for their lives for weeks and need everything they have to squeak by horrible opponents. They're objectively awful.

Yeah the line dropped when Hurts missed practice yesterday.

I don't think we see Hurts until the playoffs.  Ditto CJGJ and obviously Johnson.

I'm definitely taking the Saints on this, I think it will be a close game and if they Eagles win by 30, I couldn't care less about losing some money.

The line bounced back to Eagles -6 at MGM (the book we use for this thread).  It feels like a fair price, all things considered. I don't have a sense for the side, but under 42 seems to be the sharp play in this one.

I would take the over for sure. Weather is gonna be nice. Eagles are gonna move the ball and score a lot. Saints might score from time to time along the way.

It’s -5.5 most everywhere else though. Actually think that’s an Eagles line (would have expected it to be closer to -4/-4.5 with Gardner starting).

I grossly misjudged Minshew and the overall Eagles offense without Hurts. I also didn’t see the complete mental collapse of the OL and thought this would be a 27-10 kinda deal.
