February 28, 20232 yr I like the promotion of Johnson...obviously we've all been waiting for the formal announcement. DC is the mystery.

February 28, 20232 yr Brian Johnson is now the OC. https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/brian-johnson-promoted-eagles-new-offensive-coordinator
February 28, 20232 yr I like the OC promotion. Hmmmmm, not too sure about the possible DC hiring just yet.

I’m excited by the resume. Almost all great defensive minds struggled their first year as DC. Desai did a solid job with a bad Bears team devoid of talent at many positions and who’s best player (Roquan Smith) didn’t want to be there.

I think the terms you were looking for was: "that I was correct he did need to improve by leaps and bounds in order to be a franchise QB". And he did, thats the good part. Where I was wrong- I did not think he was capable of actually doing that. Mainly because he improved more in one offseason, than we had ever seen anyone else do at the same QB position in the past 30 years. So kudos to him. So he is 1 of 1 in that regard.

Mainly we took massive steps backward each year, partly the result of not being able to replace the offensive coordinators with good hires- partly due to injuries ande Wentz losing his mojo from the concussion.
