He had a memorable playoff run that we all love him for but that's not enough to be one of the "greats"
January 14, 20232 yr Pretty clear it is Bednarik, White, Dawkins, and Kelce. Van Buren is replaced by Kelce.

January 15, 20232 yr I am not 100% sold on Super Bowl winning Green Bay Packer Reggie White on there. Amazing player, loved watching hm as a kid but I can't think of him as an Eagle first when his ring isn't ours.

Once Ryan was fired, the writing was on the wall. Braman wasn't ever going to make the best defensive player in the NFL, the highest paid defensive player. It's hard to blame White for leaving under the circumstances.

January 22, 20232 yr Reggie was here for 8 years, he was 6x first team all-pro, 1 time 2nd team and 1st team on the field as a rookie but a bunch of losers did not vote for him over some rookie BS. He was the anchor of the best statistical D in NFL history in 1991. He had 124 sacks in 121 games. He left because the owner was a PoS. Reggie is on your Eagles Mt Rushmore or you have some mini-golf knockoff Rushmore.
January 22, 20232 yr It’s Reggie, Dawk, Chuck, and then a debate. If those 3 are not on your Mount Rushmore you suck. It will be hard for Kelce to replace Tommy McDonald on mine and I didn’t even watch him play.

What kind of logic is that
January 22, 20232 yr Van Buren Bednarik White Dawkins .......Kelce, among others, are great players....but it's clear who the top 4 are.....People ignore Van Buren because he played so long ago, but he was considered one of the best players in the league for years. Different time, different game......but he clearly was a HoFer and one of the top 4 eagles in history.
January 22, 20232 yr I'm going to be in the minority on this one, but as awesome as Kelce is... Lane > Kelce. Lane has been the most important Eagles O-Lineman of this generation, even moreso than 1st ballot HOF'ers Jason Peters and Jason Kelce. He is the linchpin, whenever he goes out, our entire offense falls off a cliff.

My counterpoint is we really don't know how much the line would drop off without Kelce because he literally does not miss a game. But I think Lane will be a HOF when its all said and done too.
January 22, 20232 yr Absolutely. He's been through all of it with us, a true all pro and leader of one of the best O line units in NFL history. Yeah I said it.
