After adding a special teams receiver to the practice squad yesterday, the Eagles have made another roster move ahead of their divisional round matchup vs. the Giants.

On Wednesday, the team announced they signed DB Tristin McCollum to a future/reserve contact.

McCollum, 23, went undrafted out of Sam Houston State and spent the 2022 season on the Texans’ practice squad as a free safety. The Texas native measures 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, and will provide a versatile option on defense next offseason.

During his time at Sam Houston State, McCollum recorded 229 tackles, 20 passes defended, 4.0 sacks and three interceptions. His twin brother, Zyon McCollum, was drafted in the fifth round by Tampa Bay.

Can't hurt... Safety is a position this team needs to look at. If he develops and can be a depth guy then that's a pretty good outcome.
