That's the "You're really underdogs" line.

Sorta is... Home team gets 3 points...

Like rookie year Ben Roethlisberger

Pretty sure Roethlisberger played at home for both playoff games his rookie year.

This line tells me Vegas thinks the 49ers win. A lot of money is gonna be placed on the Eagles.

Birds should handle them. the cowgirls D kept them in check. that's how i wanted it to go.

Clearly a Niners line, all things being equal.

You cannot make mistakes against this Niners D. The Eagles.have to play just as focused as the Giants game if not more.

Agreed. They need to be focused and they need to play smart football. This needs to be like they've played for a lot of the year and not those strange games where they turn the ball over a lot. The D needs to come to play again because it could be a low scoring game.

The Girls did us a favor and made it a game until the end (they never had a shot of winning with Dak). 9ers have more playoff wear and tear... have to travel across the country... have a rookie at QB... there are no excuses whatsoever. The Eagles are the superior team as they have been all year. Still not getting any respect they are pretty much underdogs again no matter who they play here on out even though they had the best record in the NFL. Crazy but they should be taking in personal.

We need to bring the noise at the linc on sunday. Make it so Purdy can't hear and craps himself

Yes but my pt is how night and day he was from reg season to post season. As great as he was, 14-0, he proved a rookie when stakes were highest

I’m seeing -3 in some places now.

The Chiefs/Bengals line is utterly insane IMO. Might as well just make the Chiefs home dogs.

Mahomes has a high ankle sprain.

Line: Eagles -2.5                                          Total: 45.5

I’ll take the Eagles to cover and the Under.

I think we hit our implied point total of 24, but the 9ers do not.

24-13 birds

I might jump on that. It's going to increase. Normal home team is -3. So that line is really saying they are better than us. lol ok.

I think it’s closer to a "pick ‘em” on a neutral site and the 49ers would have been -1.5 at home.

Eagles are -2.5, not -1.5.

It opened -1.5 then quickly moved up a point.

Fun fact: -1.5 is the shortest line the Eagles have seen with Hurts at QB since last year's playoff game.

Home field used to be about 3 points but now sports books figure it at about 1.7.  Improvements in travel, hydration, recovery and so on have had a big impact. So has technology with respect to officiating.

Even west to east? statistically that has always been the hardest road game

Bengals have looked unstoppable on offense, and now Mahomes has a flat tire.  I'm kinda shocked that the Bengals opened as underdogs.

I'm sure those transcontinental flights are among the worst, but they don't have the impact on the line they used to:

The mental and physical toll of traveling has eased over time. Whether it's the travel itself becoming less taxing, the hiring of sleep scientists to optimize sleep schedules or improving technology enhancing game preparation during travel, there are plenty of reasons traveling teams are at a much smaller disadvantage than they were a decade or two ago.

I mean the Bengals should really be favored by at least 3. Mahomes has a flat tire, and Burrow has owned the Chiefs.

Stay focused.

Stay balanced.

Stay the Course.

and

Spoiler

The Eagles are going to win.

I am betting the house on an Eagles win!

Not my house though. Maybe my neighbors house.
